If it makes my account safer I'm happy

Afterall, none of actually "owns" our items anyway, they all belong to Neopets, so if they want to keep an eye on where they're going it's up to them.

I assume it means that they're still testing it within the office.

It'll be good to track who gave you what. I know that I often lose those events.

I agree with this. I'm thinking it's just a cosmetic thing because they've been able to track items. How else would they freeze people because they sent items to a supposed scammers account? Of course, they could have updated the program a bit to be more useful to themselves as well. I think this is a good step because people can actually trace what went where.

That's true. IIRC, they've been able to track the last 20 owners of any particular item for a very long time. All this does is make it public - and if someone's taking stuff out of your account, it lets
you see who's doing it.

*le shrug*
I guess I am one of the oddballs who doesn't like it.
O well, to each their own I presume

I'm actually happy about this. Has it every happened to you that you receive a gift, you click on the icon, and you see something lovely in your inventory, but the "event" is gone from your events list? And then you're stuck in the awkward position of being thankful, but not knowing who to thank! This way could actually make it easier.
Could it be that implementing the Transfer Log is more about conveniencing us that trying to trap up us? After all, they could see this info anyway. Now they're just sharing it with us.

I like the idea, however I guess I won't be sending dung or soot to people begging for Paint Brushes on the neoboards, they get so excited to see that gift icon they just click it without hovering over it.... now they'll all know. And now I'm curious to how much dung I've actually have sent out.

LOL, sending dung to beggers is hilarious. You could still send it, telling them it's a "donation" for their PB fund. Selling dung is a better way of getting a PB than begging for it, even if it takes longer.

Haha. Actually, this might make me dung my friends more often. It's more fun when they know you sent it.

lol
This could be a great help in gift wars.

Speaking of dung, I've noticed you can no longer donate it to the Money Tree. Or, at least I couldn't yesterday. There was a N/A in place of the () in QuickStock for it.
Edit: I can't buy it (or find it, really) on the Show Wiz either. Is this just a recent turn of events, or has it always been like this?
