Hey guys!

After much consideration, I've decided to start an experiment to prove that glowing do, in fact, change a neopet into a glowing pet.

I plan to feed my Cybunny a total of 125 jellies. If no luck I will continue to feed it until the desired results are acheived.

It would be also deeply appreciated if others helped out in this experiment by feeding their neopets glowing jellies, in order to see if it does, in fact, take 126+ jellies with all neopets, and it's not just any random number.

If you do decide to participate in this experiment then post here. Hopefully we'll all have glowing neopets by the end of this fun experiment :D

So far I've fed my Cybunny, amythist04, 94 glowing jellies. The current speculation is that 125+ glowing jellies will turn your neopets into a ravishing shade of neon green.

The statistic of 126 jellies, is that 126 whole jellies or is it 63 whole jellies (2 bites of each)?

I've heard various stories about it being 63 whole jellies, and a few of it being 125+ half jellies.

I'm going with 125+ full jellies. You could try 125 half jellies if you wish :D.

I've fed my Cybunny a total of 94 full jellies, and luck so far.

Hmmm... well if 94 full jellies haven't been sufficient then it's doubtful that it's 126 half jellies as you've already exceeded that point. I only just realised that Kaus don't have Glowing as an option for their colours. I'll give it a try with one of the Grundos on my side account...

My lab pet's in the lodge right now, but her time runs out in a week, so unless she miraculously turns MSPP, I'll throw her into this experiment as well.

Keep in mind, as a lab pet, she might change into some species that doesn't have glowing as a color, so I'm not sure how much help she'll really be....

If I remember correctly, the Garlic pets can be obtained using Garlic but the Coconut pets can't be obtained using Coconuts.

Just a question here, but if it turns out to be false, then how are you going to know? You'll be forever feeding them glowing jelly. I don't know if it is true or false but there must be a "I give up point" somewhere along the line.

If it does turn out to be false, then we've saved the time and money of other neopians out there, and besides, I'll deffinantly throw in the towl after 300, trust me xD

And I'm glad all you guys are deciding to help, this is awesome :D

Since a person on PPT accidentally had her pet turn glowing from eating glowing jellies, I'm pretty sure it's true. Since they are free (or really cheap) there's no reason not to try.

I want to turn my grundo Glowing. So far I have fed it 3 halves. I'll try to keep count of the jellies, and will report here if I get lucky ;)

I have a feeling that if this project works.. the price of glowing jellys will eventually start to go up

Or, more likely, the price of glowing paint brushes will go down. After all, the jellies are easily obtained free from "blocked" world.

On my side account I decided to start a "rescue and release" operation for pounded pets, so I think I'll join in as well.

I'd love to try it out and see what happens, but there isn't a "Glowing Ruki" colour available :( Good luck with your experiments.
