Got home yesterday! My aunt got mad at me for logging on her every chance I could xD, but she'd be in a meeting and I'd be outside posting on here xD. Anyway...

I saw Kelly Clarkson in Wast Palm Beach on Friday, and it was so cool!

Set list was...

Set List
Intro - It was 'Shook Me All Night Long'
1. Addicted - It was really cool, nice start off to the concert.
2. I Hate Myself for Loosing You - One of my favorites on 'Breakaway'.
3. Behind These Hazel Eyes - It was really good, I liked it better live than the studio version.
4. Maybe - New song, really cool, it has an awesome vibe.
Welcome Chat - She's so down to earth, really dorky too xD
5. Gone - Another of my favorites.
6. Anymore - Another new song, really nice, it has that little James Bond riff.
Kelly's Chatting - This time around she talked more with the crowd, really cool.
7. Because of You - Ah! I loved this one.
8. Shelter - It was a cover, and she rocked it, very cool.
9. Thankful - Not one of my favorites, but it was really cool, she did it acoustic.
10. Home - Another cover, well done.
Break - Costume Change
11. Miss Independent - I love it when she rocks out this song, very, very nice.
Kelly's Chat - :D
12. Go - Again, new song, but she did have some problems with it, I think she just needs to sing it a few more times live to get a good feel for it.
13. Beautiful Disaster - I LOVED THIS SONG!!
14. Hear Me - Very cool. She did an awesome job on it.
Band Introductions
15. Yeah - I had mixed feelings in the beginning, but I loved it more and more as the song progressed. I love it.
16. Walk Away - On of my top favorites. Very cool.
17. Breakaway - I loved it, we all sang along.
18. Since You Been Gone - She did that thing where she yells out 'Sine U Been Gone' and the crowd repeats it, and it was just awesome.

I love all her new songs, but she had some problems with 'Go' though. The rest of them were awesome, all in all 9/10, her outfit wasn't right for her, it was kinda trashy x.x, and some problems here and there. I mean just because she's my favorite doesn't mean she can't do any wrong. But I loved it in the end.

I don't remember (I think it was the one at Greenville-Pickens), but next Tuesday, I'm going to the Xodus in Taylors to see Jacobs Theory...again. XD

At this rate, David's gonna ban us from their shows! XD

I have a Googling mission for you all!!!

When I was in Salamanca, there was a big rock concert in the Plaza Mayor. I know I should've written down the name, but I didn't... so I want you to find out what band it was for me!

They're English, I can tell you that. The concert was on the night of the 9th of June, 2006, in the Plaza Mayor of Salamanca, Spain. :D

Thank you. :*

AFI July 7th in a small club in Chicago. 25 feet from the stage if that. First row, balcony.

I'd type out the whole story, but honestly, I wrote pages on Microsoft Word on it. Doubt anyone wants to shuffle through all of it.

Was the best night of my life. Simply put. I was RIGHT THERE. Honestly, I was a few feet away from Hunter. And, during Days of the Phoenix, Davey climbed up on the railing and leaned over to my friend Morgan and I holding out the microphone.
Of course, she and I both had a heartattack and exploded into pieces of rainbow confetti.

AFI Sorrow, you must have just died. How long did you wait to get so close to them?

It was the best concert I had ever seen. And, given my elderly status :P, I have seen a lot of concerts in my time. I am so lucky that my daughter, Nat, got me into AFI. It is undoubtedly my favorite band right now. And, hey, there were people older than me in the audience. Singing along just like I was. Go figure. ;)

:D This make me sooo happy! I'm glad you love AFI too.
Yeah, at my concert there were a lot of older people in the audience too.
They've been my favorite band for five years, so I figured waiting in line for three hours wouldn't be too hard. :P And yessssh, I did die, it was wonderful and even though I started to faint in the mosh pit during Dillinger Escape Plan and had to be hoisted out of there by my two best friends it was the best night of my life. <3

They are AMAZING live aren't they? Everyone is full of such energy, it really blows my mind. That, and they sound exactly same. Davey's vocals never cease to amaze me, along with the wonderful instrument work and stage performance of our little Jade, Hunter and Adam. (I was so happy because from my position I got a perfect shot of Adam. He's really fun to watch, all twirly with his drum sticks and just completely rocking the PIRATE drums!!) And of course, Hunter was his typical self jumping from everything he could climb and Jade was kicking his "chicken foot" like never before.
And yes, the unity of the crowd is INSANE. Everyone is singing, young and old, all thrusting their fists into the air. It's magical.

AFI, did you ever see Dillenger Escape Plan before that? Because I have to say that they were the most intense band I had ever seen. My guess is that anyone I know would have been outraged--oh, my husband would have walked out--I found it quite extreme, but I don't know quite how to put this, I appreciated it. I mean I tried to understand just where they were coming from and accept their point of view. Their rhythm was awesome. Made my heart shake.

But, AFI. Geesh. No comparison. They are an amazing live band. Because they really communicate with the audience. Make everyone feel a part of it. And, I just don't know how Davey can do a soft vocal ballad-type one song and then scream in the next song (though unlike Dillinger Group, have every word understood in that scream). It really was the best concert I had ever seen and I have seen so many in my lifetime. I only wish that we had tickets to go back to see them the following day. Though we did luck out. Davey and Jade did a show with a local music station immediately after the show, so we got to hear them (and listen to music they picked to play) on the car ride home. I was so tired the next day from standing on my feet for so long, hoarse voice from singing so loud and whistling and screaming ooooh (much to the embarassment of my daughter--mothers are not supposed to give appreciative screams, I guess. :P) --but it was so well worth it. Now I can't stop listening to their lastest CD. Maybe I was born before my time, eh? Or they appeal to a larger population than would seem at first glance. I am glad you had such a memorable experience at the show.

I am taking my daughter and a friend to see Mindless Self Indulgence this weekend. I just hope that after seeing AFI, I am not too disappointed. :)

Oh, with Mindless Self Indulgence you will not be dissapointed, since their concerts are INSANE. (However, they can't hold a wet match to AFI. Heh heh.)

And no, I haven't seen Dillinger Escape Plan before that, but I was really scared to be honest. I'm not a mosh pit person, and I knew that I was going to get MURDERED. (And indeed, I was absolutely right. Their fans can be quite vicious.)

Davey's vocals are a--mazing.
And, I think AFI can be loved by everyone. My dad even likes them, though not to extent that you do, I'm sure. :P They have so many different sounds to them, and in each CD you can hear them take on a different sound. I cannot express my love for them in words. :)

Heh, I wish my mom would go to concerts with me. The only time we went together was for John Mayer and Counting Crows. Heh heh. My mom hates stuffy, crowded, sweaty concerts. (While I embrace them! <3 )

Red Hot Chili Peppers in Manchester.

A mate got bought tickets by her dad, as a sort of birthday present and she took me and another girl with her. I'm not a huge fan, but I like !!!, the support band.

Who we missed because Kirsty can't read directions and we missed the motorway turn off and we couldn't get onto the other side and got back for a LONG time.

Gah.

All I remember were they were screaming at the end and throwing their guitars everywhere.

And they said something negative about Blair and Bush. ._.
