I'm not sure I like the Lutra as a petpet. It's gorgeous, but it looks too much like the Lutari. If I had a female Lut, I'd be tempted to attach one to her and claim it was her baby.

The Delfin's quite appealing, though.

The petpets are nice and all, but I'd much rather they fix whatever it is that's keeping all the most recent items from being properly released.

I mean, it's really starting to bug me now. Someone (I forget who, I'm really sorry!) ventured in another thread that whatever that glitch was might have been the reason our plot/cup prizes haven't been given out yet. That sounded reasonable at first, but if TNT knew there was a problem with items, why would they keep announcing new items in the news? I can't tell if they know there's a problem or not.

Might gather some info for a bug report just in case...

I'd wager that the Lutra is destined to become the next Krawk. Bring it to Lutari Island or something and voila' you have a Lutari.

I completely agree. It's getting ridiculous: neoitems is up to 12(!) pages of items that have been "released" but not activated.

That was me (unless someone beat me to the theory; entirely possible). You have a point, though. If that really is the problem, why would TNT continue "releasing" new items?

I was thinking the same thing. Although sometimes they like to throw us for a loop. I tried searching for it and either it hasn't been added yet or it is really rare.

The solution for petpets that your pet doesn't like is the same as for books. You need to change the number of characters in the petpet's name. I'm not sure if changing language would do the trick in this case (might try Chinese or so), but painting it is another option (you'd have to attach it to another pet temporarily of course).

I believe that changing the language also works for attaching petpets. I seem to recall having to do that to attach a petpet to one of my pets.

Ooh, I think both of those petpets would look great with my lutari; I hope they actually get released. One thing: want to bet that was a rejected lutari design? It's got that ruff that's on EVERY OTHER neopet.

How wonderful would that be if they gave those PetPets away as Plot Prizes?! No saving millions or special tricks, just really beautiful PetPets for the masses!

Ah, I was 95% sure it was you. Darn that other 5%.

Anyway, I sent in a bug report about the missing items. It'll probably be another while before anyone on staff actually sees it, though. Regardless of what some players think sometimes, they're only human.

Which brings me to my next question: if this problem or bug or whatever isn't fixed in, say, another month or so, is there anyone on staff that I could contact who has any control over the release of items? (I'm just asking if there is, no actual names or even contact info have to be posted in this thread. I don't want them being swamped with angry emails saying "RAARR WHERE ARE MY PRIZES RARR RAAAAARGGHTHPLT *foams at the mouth*")
