well before when the person said ::

" There is a very strange Neopets Alert, saying simply:
"Tarla has left the building . . ."
It was sent out today, the 9th. I have no idea if it relates to the plot, but I thought I'd post it here anyway (if you don't have the Neopets toolbar I assume you wouldn't see it). I've never seen an alert that is just a simple joke, or silliness. Has anyone else? "

I have no idea about what neopets alerts are... it's the first time a plot clue would be released with the toolbar, and it srtikes me as odd since most people wouldn't see it.

For anyone interested I found a decent guide which does a nice job of summarizing possible theories, and includes screenies of items that are being thrown all over the boards as OMG MAJOR CLOO!!!!s. It seems this could be a level-headed guide in the longrun:

I saw an F and a Y so far. What other plot could they be from? If they're from an old plot, please let us know so we don't keep refreshing at the beach. Well, that sounds kind of nice . . .

MASSIVE UPDATE: We're getting reports on the Neoboards that the letters on the Mystery Island Beach, that was used for the Mystery Island Plot of 2003 but never got removed, have now changed and letters around Mystery Island now make "Bay of Silk". We're looking into this. Watch out for the Plot Section soon, and we still need those comics!

Clue #6 Visiting the beach you find, while refreshing, letters that appear in the sand. Using the numbers from the Neohome, you can see which letters you need, and when they appear.

59 = H
39 = Y
18 = A
19 = K
04 = L
24 = O
58 = B
57 = S
05 = F

I definitely must be crazy because even after a couple of refreshes, I still see no letters in the sand. I must not be looking at the right places...
