Umm Long Inactive Account?

I had an account a really long time ago. And it was hacked, I think. I say I think because my pets are still there. It was linked to a hotmail account. While I was gone, hotmail created a new polocy. If you do not log into your account after 6 months, it is deleted.

I remember my user name, not my password. My conected email addy is no longer working.

I'm just finding this out now. My old password doesn't work. And I can't access my old account at all because I do not remember the password.

Is there anything I can do to fix this? I know the items are gone, but I would like my pets back. I know they are still there, cause they are in the user lookup.

Anyone want to help?

I think you'll have to contact Neopets and explain your situation.

Why not recreate your hotmail account ? And hotmail will delete accounts after 30 days if you do not log in.

That stinks =/ Well send something in to TNT explaining, maybe they'll help out. I was trying to get into an old account recently and I remembered the password... then it came up with a thing where I had to enter my birthday xDD Which bugged me because I randomly entered a date since the account was just for a prank then I'd self-freeze it but I decided I wanted the pet in it (Skaberie the yellow bori I think) and I couldn't remember the birthday. xDD

If someone already registered the name... well... that'll just make things harder - but you never know unless you try.

Well I was hacked shortly after I started playing Neopets, a long time ago, and I created a temporary account. TNT was able to get my original account back to me and so I abandoned my temp account. I recently wanted to open that account back up to lab adopted pets and could not remember my password. So I contacted TNT and they got back to me about a week later. The gal said that it had been to long, over 1500 days, and that she could not reactivate the account. You can see for yourself just lookup TheRealFlyChick7. And yes I feel very bad about the pet that is still sitting on that account and I explained that to the TNT gal as well, but nothing. So I had to start up a new side account and just forget about that old one. So Good Luck trying to reactivate your old account.
