The big screen and the small screen... together at last! Hurrah!

my vote's for Michael, ever since the coffee filter dress, that was da bomb

I'm kind of stunned that Jeffrey wasn't eliminated this week. I wasn't crazy about Robert's design either, but Jeffrey's was abysmal.

yeah, at least robert's fit well. I just can't take one more moment with Angela on this show. Have you seen her website? She makes some weird stuff. And it's all like patchwork, not even design.

Isn't Angela an engineer anyway? (Or am I thinking of something else?) What's the link to her website?
Even though I like Robert much more than Jeffrey, I think that Robert did need to go. His designs were consistently plain, and they weren't really improving. However, in my opinon, Jeffrey can go ASAP.

I'm not a fan of Angela either (those scrunchy-button detail thingies are horrendous). And I do agree that Robert needed to go, but when it came down to the two designs, Robert's and Jeffrey's, I thought Jeffrey's was hands down the worse of the two. And he handled his client rather poorly on top of that.
I'm not sure if I have a favorite yet, but I do like both Uli and Michael.

PFft these shows are hilarious - reality tv whoooaehY!

I actually think those pants are kinda cool...

Internet Explorer had to shut down after I clicked on the link. They must be pretty bad.
I don't think Allison deserved to get kicked off.

At the moment Michael is my favorite.

I have this really bad feeling Micheal is going to be kicked off soon. No reason, except for the fact that I like him too much.
At this point, Uli is a one trick pony. She did something actually really interesting for both the recycled materials challenge and the mom challenge, then went back to her standard dress. I wouldn't be sad if she left, because if I missed her designs I could just look back and know that if she was still on, she'd make the exact same thing. It's pretty, but it's old.
Angela was out of her league, the challenge she won, her outfit was hideous. I will not miss those granny circles.
Jeffrey is a butthead, but I think if he is given enough time, he can make really nice clothes. He has a style and it doesn't translate well with such a short time limit. He reacted HORRENDOUSLY with Angela's momma, although she did seem like one of those women, he was still out of line.
Seeing Vincent in his boxers is something I really did not need. He is so this season's Wendy Pepper and the dress he made for the mom challenge was uglyuglyugly. Uli should have won that one. His outfit for the last challenge was too boring for this contest. He made Robert look like Cirque du Soleil.
Laura. Eh. She does nothing for me either way. If it wasn't for her interaction with Micheal, I wouldn't miss her if she left. Although I don't think she should be the next to go.
If Tim Gunn wasn't old enough to be my daddy and he liked women, he would totally be my husband basically. I loved when Jeffery said something along the lines of life being incomplete without Tim randomly popping up.

Wow, I agree with you on almost all your points! And I am so happy Angela's gone. Now if we just get Vincent out of there, we'll have a real competition.
About Uli though, I know she's made the same dress over and over. But with the earlier challenges, when they were just starting, she made the dress and it was okay because they were the first ones, but now in the later challenges, like the idol one and the jet-setter one, she had to design for a specific person. I think it was highly plausible that Diana Ross would wear a dress like that. And in this challenge, she was designing for herself, and that's her favorite thing to wear. However, when the challenge was different (i.e. the moms), she was able to expand. I think she just screwed herself by making the dress too many times when she had other choices, and now that it's appropriate, it's been one too many times.

Ew - I'm glad I didn't watch the entire episode where they showed Vincent in his boxers. That would have ruined the rest of the day for me. It was bad enough seeing a picture of dear little Kayne in his tighty whities and a shirt. I do agree with the whole Wendy Pepper thing, although I think Angela was a close second to that, as most nearly everyone had a complaint about her.
I must say that I would say the same thing for Michael Kors. He tells it like it is

I think this is what makes me so frusterated with Uli..she
can make other things and have them turn out wonderfully, but she goes with what comes easiest. The clothes she makes on the show, look just like the clothes she brought in when they were picking contestants. In a competition about creativity and bringing it every runway, she doesn't do it for me.
That said, I would probably actually wear her clothes 90% of the time. But summer is only so long, and not everyone lives in the tropics.
And yay, new episode tonight! I'm looking forward to what kind of crazy french twist (haha, bad pun) they'll make the designers go through.

thank goodness! I don't even mind Jeffery winning. Now we can get down to the real designers. No more stupid granny circles or vincent getting a little too happy with his designs. (I swear, I bet he designs naked at home).
I was v. scared for Michael though. Thank goodness he got through!
