So which places in neopia do you seem to get the most random events?

For me, it's usually when I'm exploring the worlds (eg.http://www.neopets.com/halloween/index.phtml) or going to the daily links. For some reason or another, I don't get any when on those pages where it links to a flashgame (eg.http://www.neopets.com/games/bowls.phtml)

Would like to know your experiences

Aside from the Advent Calendar, I'd say User lookup pages

You get random events at the advent calender during non advent times?

Yes you do, especially when looking for the snow beast

Random events are just that, random, there are no sections of the site that make random events more likely.

I do get RE's in the most unexpected places, and the most unusal RE's there sometimes. I find mostly codestones and usually I find them while visiting the various lands via the world map but I don't think I could pinpoint one place that is "luckier" than others.

It is pretty much random, but you do tend to get more from games such as Neoquest and Cellblock, merely because in an average game of Neoquest, you can get through thousands of pages in a couple of hours. But I don't think any particular area of the site gives more random events.

I get most of mine from NQ2 for that reason. Wound up getting something like 10 quests last week that way.

Then again, some of the worlds have their own specific random events, and you might be more likely to get a particularly good (or bad) RE from being on those pages. That's just a guess, though.

Yeah, I get most of mine when playing cardgames where you refresh a lot, like Pyramids or Solitaire, or my beloved Scorchy Slots...but rarely ever from games like Cellblock or Snow Wars, which is kinda odd.

I get most doing stuff in the lost desert like coltzans shrine.

I get countless codestones feeding kadoaties. I refresh twice at the top of the minute, then once at the end of the minute to make sure the clock is right. So 3-4 refreshes a minute, every half hour, for as long as the kadoatery pends adds up. I never see the event either, I refresh right over it, so then I go to my inventory and wonder why it says I have 51 items instead of 50.

When playing the Neoquests, I find lots of food or random things. Its kind of silly being in the middle of fighting Terask when along comes a red poogle to say hi! Or walking through a haunted forest to find a can of Achyfi on the ground.
