I haven't checked this page in months, so this could be incredibly old news to most, but on a whim I visited the Coming Soon page today.

Something caught my attention...

Now I know the Coming Soon page has never been that reliable (See : Flash makeover, Kreludor stuff, Sidebar themes etc), but could this be a sign of things to come ?

Neo have said that the next "big plot" will be set in the Haunted Woods (though that was a while ago and could have since changed), could the plot be set to co-incide with Halloween ?

That's been the rumor for quite some time now, that a Haunted Woods plot will coincide with Halloween this year. With any luck "Coming Soon" means this year and not, uh, some other year.

But it seems we are overdue for a plot with a war, so chances are good that the rumors are true.

It's high time that the neglected Haunted Woods got some attention. :evil:

...Well, shoot, I guess I'd better put those codestones I've been hoarding to good use.

(Out of curiosity, how do war plots usually work? I.e., how are "enemies" distributed among the masses, many with pets with < 50 combined stats.)

yeah, that just makes sense to have it coincide with Halloween. Oooh, I hope it's going to be fun!

It used to be that they release X number of very easy opponents, then X number of slightly harder ones and etc. Basically just kill what you can. Recently they ranked your pets on certain stuff, so each rank (3 in total) would fight opponents with varying degrees of toughness. This wasn't very fair for borderline pets, but I'm looking forward to seeing how it'll work

Dice a Roo 2 used to be on there.. I belive it was taken off as they are soon to release it....

now there IS somewhere either on NF or in the editorial something hinting towards its release, going on about Roo island.. I CANT find it though >.< if anyone can find what im talking about please post it

It was posted by Neopets, ive checked the latest NF and editorial but can't seem to find it hmm..

It's a new flash game by Ollie, not Dice a Roo 2. Quote from the September newsletter:

yes, but there was also specifically "dice-a-roo 2" (flash game) on there. Guess gummy dice took it's place?
