I think all rules should be explained in as clear and concise a manner as possible. If you look at the number of editorial questions that inquire about whether actions are freezable, clearly there are a lot of confused people.

I wasn't saying we didn't need clearer rules and faqs on the site for what counts as a freezable offence.

I was replying to the post I quoted in saying that such basic things like training your pet, the Coltzan's Shrine and Avatars - things like dailes, chance and games should not need faqs - most of them already have information on such in the Help section of the site anyways.

I do believe there should be a more concise version of the rules, but most of the things people question about are either new additions and rules to the site, or common sense. Which is why they are mostly answered only in the editorial.

The rules DO cover a lot of what we shouldn't do on the site. And there are a lot of them. The terms and conditions were updated to be more concise on March, though the rules need a bit of a redo.

I've played neopets for 6 years, have used the neoboards actively in that time and I have not received a single warning, or ever been frozen. I really must be doing something right, but I also realize people do get frozen or warned for simple mistakes. But I've also seen a lot of people get unfrozen too.

I honestly have faith in TNT's judgement for the most part, and I believe that doing a bit of your own research if you're ever unsure of a rule could save you a lot of trouble in the future.

While guild websites may be allowed, they might not approve of the link being posted on the neoboards but prefer that you keep it to the guild messageboards/guild info page where it'll only reach those to whom it's relevant.

Idk, perhaps this is is just one of those things they haven't explained very well what's okay and what's not about, orrrrrr they simply didn't check where the link lead and sent the warning thinking you'd linked to some random website. Maybe try submitting a question asking for a clarification on the rules of off-site guild websites and where you can link to them?

No, I never posted a link anywhere on the the neoboards. I just said that my guild webbie was back up, I didnt give an actual link. I've asked in a couple of emails about the rules and I haven't gotten an answer. Its like they don't know or something.

Does anyone know what form I should use to ask about my report. It just seems odd that I'm not getting a response. Every other time I ask about something it only takes like a day to get an email or neomail back.
