It is quite easy. Simple forms can be sent with any e-mail address listed. An example would be to send yourself a neogreeting. You can put any e-mail address you wish into the From: box and the e-mail you recieve will say from that address.

Fun for sending greetings from the President, Santa, The Easter Bunny, Snarky, or even your child's pet. ;)

Thanks, Stampsyne and Sierra, I did not know that. A greeting from Santa? Oooh, I could really mess with a few people's heads now that I know this. Ah, I best not do so, eh? ;)

Sometimes it pays to be paranoid and suspicious. :D I don't trust anything right off I'm not expecting or looks suspect. I don't even have my username listed (anymore) because you never know when someone will try something (and this is not my Neopets name though someone else does use it). I also have the pin enabled everywhere and change it and my password periodically.

Read through the Neopets About Us, Terms of Service, etc. and you'll see the only way they contact you is through the official "theneopetsteam" account and with the 'asplode avatar (which no one else has). Even then, I'd be suspicious of it until I could verify it.

Remember, being a Neopets Monitor is a job. 7-11 and McDonald's don't email you asking you if you want to work for them. Neither will Neopets.

*snort*

Stupid scammer.

I'm so afraid of scammers... They seem very evil and bad like  according to other people's experiences. Ooh...*shivers*
Another question: Why do they scam NEOPIANS? Neopets is just a virtual game! o_O

Should I just go ahead and make a new account? I don't know how long it takes for TNT to look at my account, but I'm getting really bored without my entertainment.

Make a new one to keep you busy and since there is a chance you'll never get your account back. If you do get it back, you can transfer all your items to whichever one you'd like to keep and leave the other empty.

*grumbles* I would love to make a new account, but I think neopets i having problems right now. I tried going through the pages of neopets and the screen kept freezing. The only that ticks me off really is I did the whole Altador plot and was able to guess on my main account. When I create a new one, it's too late for guessing (although apparently it doesn't matter if you guessed right or wrong...so far as seen) and I don't know if the Altador plot is still open. :x

Why didn't you just take your account back when the scammer allegedly said she wanted to give it back to you? I find it odd that you supposedly "didn't care" about your shield, any trophies, your shop size, your pets, your plot entry... you told her you'd rather start over than have a "ruined" account. Now you seem to care.

I think it is weird that you don't want your account, and now you do? Also, you said it wasn't a scam and now all of a sudden you do. And, you said you frozen for impersonating a staff member...Maybe you ARE the scammer trying to trick us.

Also, why did you have overpriced berries? They are only worth a few neopoints.

What's with the curiosity about her berry prices? I found it odd how "Sue" kept pushing about it, and now you bring it up.
