I lab pounded pets, and I don't adopt any pet unless I like it's name. If I were getting a painted paint I would want a nice name and I know others do too.

This, along with avatar hunting, is the main reason I usually create pets to lab zap now instead of getting them from the Pound. Even so, a pet with a nice name and color will sit in the Pound longer than it used to.
