I was on neopets and suddenly my norton's antivirus says "blocked worm attempt". And a little window pops up to tell me more details about that blocked worm. Anyway, I don't know for sure if this came from neopets, but it happened when I refreshed a neopets page. I don't know what it thought was a worm. Maybe it just comfused some spyware with a worm or something. Anyway, has anyone else gotten this before? Should I be worried? I mean, it says it did block it, so maybe it won't happen again anyway.

It's probably a ad that caused it, what was the name of it? (search your blocked log)

Intrusion detected and blocked. All communication with view.atdmt.com(65.203.229.43) will be blocked for 30 minutes

It looks like an ip address or something. Do you think it is an individual trying to hack me? Or just a worm? I don't know what that means, but if it is an individual trying to hack me, what more can I do about it?

Looks like you got it from an ad on the site. Report that address to neopets regarding the ads and viruses, and they should hopefully give it a look.

Good thing your antivirus caught it, worms are annoying to deal with. So yeah, I'd just report it, and maybe find a way to block the ads on neopets.

Yep, atdmt.com is the ads. I suggest completely blocking atdmt.com to prevent any ads from giving you a worm or spyware.

Read the last post on the first page of this thread:
http://www.pinkpt.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=29089

Do that. I use firefox/adblock, which AFAIK (though I'm no expert, so grains of salt all around) operates in the same way as the hosts file. If you use adblock with firefox, go to Tools -> Adblock -> Preferences, and click on "Adblock Preferences" in the top-righthand corner of the popup. Make sure the checkmark for "Site Blocking" is on.

There's more in-depth discussion in that thread, I suggest you read it.
