I'm going to vote 6-7 hours because that's what I normally get during the week. I'm one of those adults who needs 9-10 hours of sleep every day to really function well, so 6-7 hours is not nearly enough :(

I get a perfectly adequate amount of sleep, especially considering I'm a college student.

I sleep sometimes twelve hours a night on weekends. Usually six to eight on weeknights.
When I was on Paxil(which I was only on for two weeks), I was sleeping seventeen hours a day. I'd get up, go to school, get home from school, and go to bed. It was really frustrating, not being able to do anything because I was tired all the time.

I usually try to get a minimum of 8 otherwise I get grumpy. Sometimes I can sleep for close to 12 hours though but I always feel horrible when I wake up.

Not enough, I'll tell you that. My insomnia is different every night. The past few days:

Sunday night-4 1/2 hours
Monday night-7 hours
Tuesday night-No sleep
Wednesday night-8 hours
Thursday night-No sleep

I guess an average of 4-6?

7-8 hours of sleep usually, though un-interrupted sleep would probably be half of that. >_>

8-10 hours. Well, I do aim for 8 hours and it isn't the end of the world if I don't do that (even though I might get a late-night temper tantrum :roflol: ) Anyway, it was really hard getting to sleep last night; my brain was full of fluff and complications and... erm... normal girls' worries :)

I'm one of those people who just HAVE to have at least 8 hours of sleep. If it's any less, I end up yawning the whole class the next day (and manage to get the teachers mad at me) and forgeting have of what they were trying to teach us.

Not as much as i need.

I don't know how many hours. It varies. I was a terrible insomniac for a long time, and now am in a slump where I can sleep and sleep.

6-7 hours, usually. Occasionally more or less.

8-10 hours. Usually I get about 9 hours of sleep a night - from about 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

Around 8 - 9 hours a night, which isn't nearly enough. :( It seems no matter how much I sleep, I'm always tired, but that's due mostly to health problems.

You can never make up for sleep you don't get, you can only 'be tired and get more sleep'. You do function best after getting proper nights of sleep. I actually find it rather distressing how many people don't get enough sleep here. School should not be an excuse as to why you don't get enough sleep.
I get from 7-8 hours a night. Any less and i'm tired and I don't function well. I have a heart condition so getting a proper amount of sleep has always been paramount to me.
