I doubt he is Sylar .. I am still certain HRG is Sylar. The CBG is like his sidekick. Do you remember the leech in XMen .. I do believe CBG's power is like that, he has the ability to disable other peoples powers temporarily. Oooor, he could be a very powerful telekentic being like Sylar, but Sylar taught him his ways. I still argue that HRG is in fact Sylar as he seems to know all the Hero's

And he knows who all the heroes are now?! :o I think when he said to "take the one" he meant Nikki, because she has a big power.

Nah .. if your looking at the tv .. Nikki was on the left and Nathan on the right and he nodded to the right meaning Nathan. Plus in the preview to next week, Nathan was in blu epajama bottoms and a white shirt, taking off aka flying off from CBG and HRG

And the whole thing with "Save the Cheerleader | Save the World", I think that doesn't have to do with saving her from dieing or whatever, I think it means saving her from going to the dark side. Because her dad is HRG man and I think he might try and get her to go on his side. Plus even though she got back at the quarterback, the look in her eyes scared me...

Think about it though .. she DIED and came back. Saving the cheerleader means saving her brain from being eaten from Sylar .. as that seems to be the generalization for how he is absorbing powers. If Sylar .. if we are to assume he is an permenant absorber of the highest extenet .. ate teh brain of the spontaneous regenerator .. he'd be indestructable!

See!! More squiggly things! They have a meaning .. I know they do!

I hope not; the jerk didn't even apologise or anything. I don't agree with death, but she got back at him, and at least he won't hurt anyone ever again.

As Mohinder, he just makes me angry. Why should, as you said, one set back make you sceptical? It doesn't make sense, he did a 180 on his previous beliefs. Unbelievable.

And I don't think they went after Nikki, if you see, she was sleeping on the left side. The black guy, went to the right side, where the guy was sleeping. I don't think they'll take her just yet.

But what's her power anyway? She just seems to have a really bad bi-polar disorder.

And we don't get previews for next week episode, but I hope Claire is alright. The painter's vision freaked me out!

So many things to contemplate and soooo much time till next weeks episode.

supposing this season will take place over a 5 week time period (till the explosion of New York) Hiro has alot of learning to do. he ha to speak English with hardly an accent and travel back in time. He has to meet Peter somewhere to know about the scar. This is gonna be action and suspense packed!!!!

Actually, future Hiro is waaaaaaaay more into the future than the explosion in New York. I'm thinking, a couple of years into the future. And by the tone of his voice and his clothing, it sounds like the future is bleak.

Henceforth, Nikki's evil twin shall be known as Ikkin. :P And I did see the helix-thing on her shoulder. I'm thinking that's just to distinguish the two, but I dunno. It's like the numbers in Lost...

ZOMG, Micah's a freaking genius! He figured out that she was doing naughty things in the garage. His power's obvious.

Yeah, Mohinder's deal was kinda stupid. True, as a scientist you're supposed to be sceptical, but not do a complete 180 on beliefs. :\

And yeah, I watched the last part, and they did go for Nathan and that was him flying from HRG and CBG.

Ack, it's alphabet soup in here.

Interesting....so how will they write that into this season I wonder? They can't wait a couple of years to fill us in on that can they?
Thats why I love this show, you just don't know!

is it true that i herd peter can fly but like not really he can manipulate others powers?

Wed Oct 18, 2006 1:28 am

They made Hiro too powerful. The ability to bend space-time makes him the most broken chacracter in the show. If he wanted to, he could literally rewrite history as he sees fit. As we have just seen, and was easily guessed, he has uber space-time manipulation powers. What is stopping him from making other changes in history? Not to mention his paradox creating ability. If he can contact Issac, Hiro could use all the paintings in the gallery as guides to changing the outcomes seen in the paintings, like the bus bombing seen in the first episode or anything else where the outcome is known. Between Hiro and Issac, there are two competing elements. Issac sees the future linearly, with out changes. Hiro has the ability to jump around in the time-line and change what he sees fit. If Hiro sees and changes a prediction, then the prediction could never have happened, causing him to not see what has to be changed and thus not changing it and adding to my love of paradoxes. :D I really want to see what happens to Issac's paintings when Hiro changes the outcome of the event. I wonder if they would change or disappear.

I missed last nights episode.

The thing is, I could have sworn that last week I saw it again later on in the week. But I searched and can't find out what channel that was. Oh well. Sounds like a great episode.

Don't they have the episode up on nbc.com? (or whatever station its on)

Yes it is NBC and most likely. You could also try youtube or if you have massive patience, just wait for the show to come out on DVD. Goodness knows I am so buying it when it comes out!

Getting it off NBC.com only works for Americans, apparently. I know that this weekend they are showing 3 episodes back-to-back-to-back. But I assume it's the first 3. Maybe it'll really be episodes 2, 3, and 4 since episode 1 already had an encore. We shall see.
