I finally managed to get to a grave to test the bones (twice!) I didn't get a match for the spirit of slumber obviously, but at least I got to try :D

Ugh. Why does NeoPets make quests like this? I've dug up 3 graves and STILL can't find any bones to test. Every time I go to one, someone is already there. I don't want to spend all day on this! An hour? Sure. Two hours? Maybe. More than that? NO!!!!

Sorry, I'm just extremely frustrated that I want to complete the quest, but can't move fast enough -- and I don't have enough free time to keep trying! :(

I'm not sure you have to test bones or fetch things to make the potion.

73-582... Pretty empty, with lots of work to do. Maybe a chance for some of you to catch a bone to test.

I'm under the impression that none of this will really count highly towards our score in the long run: that it'll be like the LDP in the sense that piles of sand and furniture moved weren't individually calculated. IMO, the only thing that will count is, "did you do anything to help?"

What I have noticed is that some people seem to work on a grave till the hole is big enough to see the skidget (worm) and then they leave, and I think they do it to go and to get a potion to analize the bones in that grave. That way they get the prizes for digging and with some luck, the 150 np for analizing. :x

Also... You can 'kick people off' testing bones if they take too long. Lots of fun. :)

Hi! I posted last night (for me) about being stuck and I didn't get a very helpful reply (no offense to the one person who tried!) and I was hoping that with the abundence of people on, maybe somebody has had a similar experience. I'm stuck in a grave. Not the graveyard, the actual grave where you're supposed to test the bone but there isn't a bone and it won't let me leave. I've tried clicking "leave grave" and it just keeps saying the link is http://www.neopets.com/halloween/hwp/gr ... eave_grave
and it is still on the grave. I tried clicking "haunted woods graveyard" button but that gives me http://www.neopets.com/halloween/hwp/graveyard.phtml and I'm still at the grave. I tried to go back to the guy with the books and went to "examine the graveyard lists" and I get back to the grave. I click "return to the haunted woods" and go all the way through it again, and I'm still at the grave.

I'm in the graveyard numbered/lettered 4K7-92 and I think the grave I'm stuck in is the one where you go all the way to the left on the top part, then the bottom of the clump of graves and its the 5th one from the left. I don't know if I just need somebody to go there and bump me or what but it's been like this since some time last night and I may be stuck because of them resetting the graves right when I went in there. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated and I really want to be in the plot but I'm really am stuck! Oh and I'm not stuck in the graveyard, but the actual grave, which makes this problem really hard for me to figure out.

Question not my intelligence. Question my motives instead.

ohhhh! I didn't know that! I usually just refresh on people anyways, so maybe that is what is happening. I just thought a lot of people were getting it wrong. That may still be the case...

Anybody know if after a certain number of digging graves you stop getting prizes ? I'm up to about 20 give or take.

I find the potion part extremely unbalanced, the same people are keep getting there first.

Same here, I keep checking graves to find somebody already there checking the bones. I've been lucky twice so far. I just keep digging and fetching potions for Sophie, it keeps me from getting frustrated. I do like this part of the plot, it gives you 3 things to do and you can start a new thing pretty fast (5 minutes waiting time is nothing) But I'll guess it'll be something like, we dig up all the graves but find no spirit of slumber bones. Then the gravejardyurble will say something like "Maybe you should look, there and there, or ask that and that person about the spirit" Don't think we'll acctually dig the bones up.

I have probably dug 50 or more graves and I am still getting prizes.

Aya, I was thinking that too, about not finding the bones! Like, we'll have to talk to the Esophagur and Brain Tree after all :P
