This is a sketch I drew the other day during.....er........nevermind.
It's a picture of my character, Hikaru, well, sleeping.

4. Please don't post overly large works. If a piece of art is large (Over 500 pixels wide or 750 pixels tall or over 700kb in size), please make a thumbnail or text link to the larger version. If a piece of writing is long (Over 1500 words), please post an offsite link.

I know it's not good but it's not really bad either. I think the balance isn't too bad, and it did work out pretty well for me :)
The thing I don't like much is that it doesn't look like she's leaning on the tree.
Any advise to get better? Please :D

P.S. RPers this is the one I'm always playing.
Also, please don't mind the feet much, I forgot to do them

Inrun Edit: IMG tags changed into URL tags so image no longer vertically stretches page. Please read the gallery rules before posting. If you have any questions feel free to PM a staff member.

You might want to try curving the spine in toward the tree a little more. People don't sit rigidly after all, they sort of bend into positions. That might help. Also, the proportions on her legs seem a bit off....It looks like they should be a little longer.

I love the idea and the general tranquility of the picture, though. The shape and flow of the tree is particularly well done. You definately have potential, just keep working at it! I hope to see more of your art in the future^^

So pay the price and close your eyes and play the game then I'll make you cry...

No it's not bad at all! It's very good in my eyes! All it needs now is color.

I rate it 9.9/10 :D

All the things you could improve on were said by Hakojo, so I won't repeat myself. I think it's really good. The tree actually looks like a tree (I always draw trees weird)!
I bet if you colored it, it'd be SUPER awesome. :peace:

Problem is, I'm not bad at coloring, I'm just not good at coloring my own pictures..........
Maybe I'll try it sometime soon.
