Halloween sidebar question

If you're trying to get the avatar on different accounts, a suggestion would be to have two windows or tabs, with one already at the login page showing the pet's picture, i.e. already submitted a username to login to. Have the password typed in as well, if you think you might take too much time typing. Use the other to get the sidebar, and once the RE appears, switch to the other tab and login. You might want to log out first, but it's not necessary. The multiple tab/window thing just helps you to cut down on time spent on loading the login page and all.

ARGhh! I was all ready at 7pm to get the sidebar theme. But now I realised I have to go Church because it's All Saints Day. GrrrrrRRR.. AND my best friend is going to mass as well so I can't ask her to help.

Oh well, I guess I have to wait till next year..

Isn't All Saints Day tomorrow (well, technically today) at November 1st? Or was it 7Am?

Maybe her timezone's just really far. For me, the upcoming midnight's at 4pm on the 1st of Nov, so missnk would be three hours after me. NZ-ish, I guess.

yabramokids, someone said near the start of this thread (i think o__0) that there isn't any real refreshing needed. All you have to do is visit ANY page on Neopets during that one minute, and you should get it.

Of course, should this theory not stand when the time comes, go nuts. Refresh like a maniac, I'd say.

Only one refresh is needed.


If you hold down F5 you will miss the SHH message and probably panic because you will think you haven't got it.

If you don't get it the first time, try again. It isn't random, 1 refresh should get it.

I got mine last year, I clicked in the Haunted Woods (at that time we thought you had to be in HW's) and I got it.

Just clicking anywhere will get it. You don't actually have to use Refresh or F5.

I think Daze already answered that, but I doubt you'll actually need to refresh at all. Just click on any page, I figure.
