My pet isn't even trained, and one Peach snowball does it. D:

I kind of wished I used all my hoards of codestones and dubloons on him though!. And his fountain faerie quest, if I could just figure out what I want to do with him.

I still can't.

Bah, I had to transfer my battle pet to a side account, didn't I? Ah well, my level 21 18-health Krawk is getting a workout...with Ring of the Lost. Doesn't seem to fit, does it?

So basically, my strategy against these stones is to drench em in honey and bash them with more stone. Lovely how that works out. *Curses the lag*

You'd be surprised...they are getting tougher (or healing more often, at least) with time.

How many times do we have to defeat them before the to be continued comes up?

Question -- Any clue of what the battling is for? Points? event-trophies? :o

Psh. Big deal. If it means anything at all, though, these guys are suckers to the Scarab Ring. Talk about blocking all their measly icons. Kekekekeke

Thu Nov 02, 2006 5:26 am

Heh -- rather, how long do we battle for? :o

Thu Nov 02, 2006 5:27 am

Really? That's awesome, because I actually have a Scarab Ring. How many icons is it blocking?

Well, I'm not really a huge BD expert. Alls I know is that it's blocking a lot! =P Against the Furious Stones, at least, as those are the only ones I'm bothering to fight.

Why would they make three different challengers with such similar difficulty? it seems pointless to me...

Maybe the rates at which they get harder are more difficult...? Or their abilities are different.

The "harder" stones have (slightly) better weapons. They might also gain hit points at a faster rate; I don't know. I've only fought the "hardest" ones so far.

And here's how BD opponents work: their strength and defence boosts are the same as their hit points. So when you start with these guys, all three of them are below the 20 boosts and therefore very weak. Their weapons don't do much damage and they can't block much of your attack. But as you fight them more and more, their hit points go up, and therefore, so do their strength and defence boosts. Their weapons don't change, but they will start doing more damage and blocking more of your attacks with those weapons. Once their strength and defence are higher than yours, you will start to find them more difficult. My Furious Stones have 61 hit points now, which means they have the 55 str and def boosts, and they do more damage than they did at first. They're still waaaay too weak for my liking, though. ;)

Boosts are listed here.

so...how many times to we have to defeat these bozos?

My battledome pet is on a side account. But seeing as the opponents show up on that account as well, it's the one I'm using for battling.
