We've had 6 plot events in which we could only participate by battling. The LDP had battling true, but only defeating Razul counted for anything. If beating Scordrax or the spirit had any affect on our score, I didn't see it. So, clearly, there has been a distinction between puzzle/game/contest plots and battling ones. Knowing how much they've screwed up wars in the past, I can see why they're reluctant to call this a war. If it's not a real war, then we can't complain about things like maxing out on opponents, because it is not a war. I'm perfectly content to have plots made up mostly of logic puzzles and mini games, but does this redefinition mean we're never going to have a proper and fair war again? Instead of suffering poorly planned wars, are battlers just going to have to hope for a few skirmishes in the midst of future plot events? Is it really that difficult to understand what most battlers would like from a war, the only time we're ever rewarded for spending millions of np and years of effort, and what was bad about the changes they made in the sake of "fairness"?
In short, so okay this is not a war, but does that mean that wars as we know them are a thing of the past? Are they simply not going to try because they think we'll never be content with anything they do?
There is nothing to suggest that TNT are never going to have a War Plot again.
The fact that this plot
is a puzzle plot with a battle element should be different from a proper war plot.
In the context of this plot - these fights are
not a war. We are simply fighting battles.
I really get sick of the argument about battlers who spend millions miss out. It is their (our) choice in spending that much and no guarantee of anything other than glory in the battledome.
I am sure most battlers would still spend millions on weapons and training if war plots disappeared because they can still fight in the battledome.

Only 1 war was a disaster and that was the Ranking System of CoM. All the other's went well.
Once again, in context of this plot, this is not a war. We are fighting as individuals as apposed to an army (one side defeating the other).

??
Not too sure what you mean. As we defeat each set of 'enemies' we have to fight of some more. In context to the storyline, this follows the comic and what is happening in the plot.
It is great that each plot has been different, this seems to be a good blend of puzzle/fighting and I am greatful for it.
Now, it TNT could buy a few more servers...............
