I haven't been on Neopets in quite a long time. I tried to sign in recently, and noticed they now require your birthday? My account is...six years old I think? My username is Dragonmill. I created it when I was around 11, and well...when I enter my actual birthday, it doesn't work. I've tried several variations, same birthday, just older, different days. I can't imagine what I would've entered as my birthday, but often online, I entertain a fantasy version of myself and therefore don't enter actual information. I know my username AND my password, I just don't...know my birthday. And of course, after three or so attempts, I'm not allowed anymore, which makes guessing hard.

Is there an alternative that I don't know about? Is there some way to find out what I entered as my birthday with my username and password? I'd really like to be able to log in again. Any help at all???

Also, I realize that if there was a way, then certainly people trying to break into accounts that knew passwords and usernames would get by easily--but is there a way to enter different information I may know that no one else does? Do you think The Neopets Team would read/respond/consider an e-mail if I sent them one? Or would it just sound like I was trying to break into an account?

I'd really, really, really like to access my account. It's very old, and therefore I think, means a lot. Creating a new one would be torture.

Last I noticed, you can try to guess your birthday as many times as you wish. If you made neofriends (including any side accounts of your own) they can confirm your YEAR of birth. After that, it's just 365 guesses away from reopening your account.

A note to everybody else, if you put in a random b-day to protect your identity (or made an error like I did) WRITE DOWN your information somewhere safe and off-line!

that really stinks... i tried to get into one of my old accounts, and couldn't guess the birthday, so i just gave up... sigh... what can you do?

"Sorry, but you have entered the birthdate for this account incorrectly 3 times today and cannot attempt anymore today."

Naw, only three times. I don't think I had an neofriends, and I did, I don't remember them...last time I logged on had to be several months ago, if not more.

If you have somebody try to request to be your neofriend they can see your age, even if you cannot log in to accept them.

EDIT: Neopets has you down as 19. This means you need to select the year 1987. I hope that helps.

I just requested to become your neofriend to find out the age. Your account says you're 19, so tomorrow, start with January 1, 1987. Go through each day and you'll eventually hit the right date.

Aw, thanks. :] Haha, this is going to take awhile with three times a day. I've actually been guessing 1987 because I'm pretty sure when I signed up that would've made me 13, even though I wasn't, and you needed to be 13 to sign up without parental permission. My real birthday doesn't work with 1987. However, I favor some months and dates over others, so I will get to guessing those tomorrow. Thank you!
