Nice job Arka. I haven't been able to get that trick to work, though a few other people have mentioned being able to do it as well. When I get stuck it appears permanent and I end up restarting. Fortunately, just now (after 9 EST) it seems to be not too bad, lag wise.... *knocking frantically on wood*

All other challengers are usually disabled during the Battledome-sections of plots (which may or may not be called "wars" according to the lastest issue of The Neopian Times

Black Elm - 41
Blathering Beech - 62
Savage Sycamore - 42

I'm maxed out on 'easy' wins for Blathering Beech and Sycamore, but I'm too tired to.

Eh, I've only got low numbers due to the lag the past couple days:
Black Elm=16
Blathering Beech=20
Savage Sycamore=10

But I'm catching up now, instead of writing my thesis prospectus

I think the next plot update will come with the news - and most likely new challengers.

At least the lag will settle as more battlers are excluded from higher level opponents.

For one, I pity this since I started out as a newbie myself; however, lag is totally intolerable.

I think you misunderstood (probably my fault). I was talking about the score (last column) on the 1-player challenge page, not the number of times I'd fought each -- I'm only doing one of each this time. I don't have the patience or time to deal with this lag. Even if I did, I think I'd only be able to beat the sycamore a few times before it got too strong...

I'm sorry if this has already been answered, but the score is your % HP (out of 100) plus the difficulty of the enemy. So if you have 50 HP and you win with 35 against a Sycamore, you'll get

(35/50) * 100 + 50 = 120 points.

It's also the original difficulty. It doesn't increase with more wins.

My pet's pretty strong (unless you count the lab's complete annihilation of her level; she used to be able to perform Berserk attacks

), but I have such crummy weapons -_-;
My scores aren't too shabby, though. 17, 33, 26. I'm glad that the lag's down a bit for now.

Grrr. I can't win. It actually wasn't lagging that bad last night, so I figured it would be even better early this morning, based on past experience, so I went to bed last night and got up early this morning, only to see it's lagging worse than it did all day yesterday! I can't figure it out.
