I used to use the shoutbox occasionally, though I do not post on it anymore.

I never use the shoutbox. Because I use the forums, I've never really paid that close attention to the shoutbox.

I pretty much only use the shoutbox and almost never the forums.
My experiences of the forum is that it feels a little bit to elite-ish, so I prefer the shoutbox
