Without a doubt-

Harvest Moon 64.

In what other game can you raise crops, milk cows, attend cheesy festivals, and still have fun? There's harvest sprites, recipes, raffle drawings, and who doesn't enjoy digging up a rare metal every winter? <3 It's the best game because it's unique, thoroughly enjoyable, and has an inestimable replay value. :)

I just realized that I didn't finish my list :o Anyway:

Final Fantasy Tactics (PSX) - I'm a lover of tactic games, and I've played just about all of them, but out of all of them only FFT put together gameplay, the class system, and a great story together perfectly to make a game that is worthy of being called a Final Fantasy. I may even like this one more than VII...

MY personal favorite game of all:

Zombies Ate My Neighbors (SEGA Gen ver.) - What can I say, this game is fun as heck, and has become possibly as big of a classic as the Sonic games in my household. There's nothing like taking on zombies, vampires, werewolves, Chucky dolls, and giant babies while saving Cheerleaders, teachers (who comically are holding up an F- test), and soldiers (ironic eh?) with a squirt gun and a six-pack of soda in your arsenal (upon many other things). It spans about 50 levels, each one unique and each one requiring a different strategy to keeping the "victims" alive. While it's not a very popular game, most people that play it seem to like it. ^-^ There's so much to say about it, that I'll just have to say, go check it out, buy it, or something! All you need is a 6 button SEGA Controller (Basic Controller works too, but 6-Button works much better) and you're ready to go. You'll probably need the cartridge too... -.-

Ah, good to see at least one person that doesn't judge a game by its graphics. :)

You aint kidding there, Chrono Triggers graphics wern't anything to gawk over. Chrono Cross wasn't much better in the 3D department.

Most of the Pokemon games,
Sonic series,
Paper Mario,
TETRIS!,
And although I haven't played it, Tales of Symphonia. Any game that absorbs Sean Howard for 43 hours is sweet. SWEET.
And finally, Pong. The start of gaming, this is sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet game. Not really. I actually just wrote Pong for the purpose of making fun of it.

Smash TV(good for random useless killing)

hmm, i must do my list!

Civilization 3 - Great TBS game, and probably one of the most famous strategy series.

Super Marion 64 - my personal favorite Mario game, and probably the most unique one out there.

Super Mario Bros. 3 - omg this game was awesome, it has to be the most well known and played NEW game ever, i only stopped playing it like 3 years ago cause my NES broke...

Warcraft 3 - Now, for all of you who like RTS, you know Blizzard, they are probably the most well respected gaming company around. Some may complain, yes, it takes them 2-3 years to make a game, no, its not cause they are just slow. It takes them that long, cause every game they make, blows the market away. WC3 is no exception.

Final Fantasy 7 - In my opinion, the greatest and most fun RPG ever.

Morrowind (GOTY is best) - another amazing RPG, with so much to do, its not even funny. You can be anything you want, and you even get to make your characters class and name it...

Legend of Zelda: OoT - my favorite action-rpg of all time...

GTA3 - major improvement over GTA2
THUG - Ability to get your face in the game
THPS3/4 - allowed users to play online before the Network Gaming had been introduced properly (for PS2 anyway)
Gran Turismo 3 - most realistic driving simulator ever.

all I can think of at the moment

I hate fighting the giant babies... they take so many hits to beat. -.-; But I never get tired of playing it though :) I beat it twice the day before yesterday. For me, its the game with unlimited replay value. ^-^

It was Kirby Super Star. It was all the games in one, as all of the games in it were new and unique. :P SSB:M actually based one of the 1P battle modes off of the arena in it.

Here's some of my favourites.

Zelda : The Ocarina of Time
Golden Sun : The Lost age (because I never tried the first one)
Prince of Persia: The sands of time
Tomb Raider III
Rayman II : The great escape (I loved that game!)
Mario Kart 64
Metroid Prime

Tony Hawk 2
Megaman battle network 1-4 (espically 4! I have played it for 62 hours in less than a month!)
Mega man 2
Mega Man Anniversary Collection

Every person that likes videogames should like those games. If you don't, well, then you are just weird.
