[color=gray] I believe that it is only open to the players who haven't been defeated yet and I don't think that the defeated players are allowed to help their teammates either.[/gray]

Right and wrong. Defeated players are perfectly free to help their teammates, but the prize is not a Revive, and even if it were, you're already defeated so you can't use it. Remember, you can still win if your teammates pull through.

Also, anyone who has completed the puzzle might know what the prize is already :)

No, this is an elimination-type competition. If you lose, you lose PERMANENTLY. However, you will still win if your team does.

BTW, Roxas is, as if nobody already knew, Team Aqua--Shelly.

I told you it would be a slow weekend. I still have to make a quilt >_<, finish 100 notecards, and study for exams. I'm pretty sure I can update tonight, though.

EDIT: Updated!

Pardona is, for all intents and purposes, dead. She hasn't been seen anywhere on this forum since mid-November, so for all we know, she could be :o Anyways, since I really like her role, and she balances the game a lot, I'm going to FREEZE her status. If a replacement comes along (BTW, replacements open), or she returns, then they will get that role. If nobody comes along within the next 6 turns, then she will be erased.

CW was the only one to get the correct answer to the riddle. Many people decoded it and found the English answer, Ice, but you needed to RECODE it to produce RXV. After all, the ancients who wrote it surely wouldn't know any English.

I'll be amazed if I can get on in time to update tomorrow, but I will surely be able to Wednesday.I'll probably release the next Gym Leader before then, too.

*raises hand* can i replace her? XD

Kyubi rocks ma whitey tingeys(not)

and that makes 10.

Sorry guys, but I have to finish my quilt tonight (don't ask). I promise we'll have regular updates from tomorrow on out, at least for a while.

UPDATE: Quilt finished! Back to normal gameplay.

It seems like the game is really picking up; three Pokemon were fainted this turn. However, a couple of things I'd like to point out:

1. ALWAYS have your list in by 8:00 NST. If it's not, it may count, it may not, depending on when I get on. Better to not take that risk.

2. When you use an item, SPECIFY who you're using it on. Don't just say "I'm using my Super Potion," say "I'm using my Super Potion on Abra." Same with attacks. Instead of saying "I'm using Confusion on TOSO," say "Abra uses Confusion on TOSO." Believe me, it helps me out a lot.

Finally, I think people have been waiting long enough for the next Gym Leader. The other Winstrates will come soon, but for now...

Leader 5: Norman

Slaking (Normal): Level 16 (300/300)

Vigoroth (Normal): Level 13 (200/200)

Be VERY careful in how you approach these guys. They have hideously strong moves, as well as status-condition-giving attacks. Also, it may be possible for more than just the attacker to be hurt this time around...

Do you mean just with the Leader's Pokemon, or in our turns..?

Thu Dec 14, 2006 5:37 am

I think he means more than one of pokemon can be hit by one of their counter-attacks.

What I want to know is if this 'more than one pokemon' means pokemon on other players' teams, o pokemon of ours that just aren't our actives.
