anyone remember the april fools joke where they made the neopets front page look really childish, in order to make us think that they were going to make the site more child friendly and cutesy

The Lutari wasn't one of the april fool's pets - they had one named Mr. Chipper running the ice cream cart for a long time before that, but he happened to be the only one of his species at the time.
a bunch of the april fool's pets got made into petpets though:
IMHO, I didn't like what happened to the Lamameeah when it became the Gnorbu, but that just means I won't ever own one.

I remember when that happened. People here were going crazy because the jelly blob the Petpets were eating looked vaguely like Sloth's head. Recently before that, a Grundo Thief had been seen, so everyone thought a new plot was on the way. Alas, nothing.

The whole Jellyworld exists/doesn't exist thing really gets on my nerves.
I used to play along but after 3 years? it is getting so old.
The boards become a nightmare when new users come on and get hooked by those saying there is a Jellyworld and then they can't find it.
It was funny once, but now I just find it very irritating.
I think it is about time TNT actually made a plot and introduced Jellyworld.
Afterall Jellyworld did have an Altador Cup team.
