That's how I pronouce it. If you MUST, you can do it the roman way, but that's IT.

Not much of a difference, but oh well. As for my real name.. Somebody already put it, with a different spelling though..

Apparently tons of people have problems with my RL name. No one can decide if it's two syllables or one. I haven't said it in years, so I'm not sure.

Wouldn't the Roman way be Keye-zar-uh? The Classical Latin pronouncation of Caesar is Keye-zar.

Mine's pretty simple.

That's how I pronounce it anyway. The third syllable might have more of an 'ant' sound to it, but if it's said quickly you can barely tell the difference.

I know. That's what I was going with as well. The popular pronouncation of Caesar is the modern, Anglisised (yes I spelled it way wrong), scientific way. The actual Roman way is Keye-zar. Sometimes inaccuracies really bug me.

I just think that when she said 'the roman way' she didn't mean the way the romans would have said it, she meant 'how the name of the Roman is popularly pronounced'.

This is pointless, but I'm not thick ;)

I went by how my teacher pronounced it in class. :P Which happens to be see-zar. She was talking about the Romans, so therefore I call it the "Roman way".
