I'm not sure where to put my stats, haven't been on neopets for over a year and I restarted my neoquest but I'm not sure where to put the stats? Anyone?

Damage and innate speed

Check the In Depth Neoquest Guide for extensive help (google 'nequest')

Initially I would my points for Rohane into Critical Attacks and Damage Increase. Stunning is good later on in the game, as are the two Innates.

When you get Mipsy, I advise Direct Damage and the two Innates. I also put some into Group Haste. Damage Shields and Slowing I tend to put my excess points in.

With Talinia, I put Increase Bow Damage and Multiple Targets up to 11. I also use Shockwave and Innate Haste, and the final points are spread through Slowing Strike and the other Innate.

Velm - Group Healing. To 15. There's no option about this one ;P The two Innates are important, though I get the Haste up first as it means Velm can heal quicker. I'm also putting points into Group Shielding, and probably Mesmerization.

I also never put any of my points higher than 11 (with the exception of Mipsy's DD and Velm's Healing) until I have my final armour, as it usually comes with +4 bonuses.

Of course, these are just the ones that I use, but I've found they work quite well.

(For future reference, we also have a thread for NQII here =] )

Gone, forever.

I agree with most of what Alex said. (Not sure about the usefulness of Innate Magic Resistance).

For Rohane, I would put save some points for Battle Taunt, as it can help to draw fire off of Velm. (Terask II killed Velm in one of his consecutive hit frenzies once, it made me sad).

Mipsy - I would put more priority for Damage Shields than Slowing. Since when they attack you, damage will always be dealt back to them. Can be useful against highly magic-resistant enemies.

Talinia - I don't think Multiple Targets is too useful. At level 10, you max out damage for 3 enemies. I think Ranged Attacks is more useful, as it can slow down an enemy dramatically if they attack Talinia (which I found to be quite unproportionate).

I found this to be more useful than the In Depth Neoquest Guide: http://www.geocities.com/neoquest_2/skills.html

I highly recommend reading the article in issue 185 of the neopian times for advise on stat distribution. You can access it through the archives. Basically, it advises you to not allocate more than 11 points to any skill, because it renders the stat bonuses that come with your weapons useless. ( For stat purposes, [15+4= 15}, since 15 is the maximum)

And then there's the Geocities one mentioned above.

IDNQ is a great site. You might want to go someplace else for your maps, because they're covered in horrible obtrusive watermarks. However, if you're looking for items, bosses, or enemy stats, then IDNQ is the place to go.

Well, saving up the points for the final armour sounds good, since you get to spend more that way, but does it work on harder modes as well (Evil, Insane)? I mean, you'll be handicapped throughout the entire game since you can't do full damage, the only time it really pays off is when you fight Terask and once you hit level 60, he shouldn't be too hard anyway.

Yes, it absolutely works on the harder levels. You'll get weapons/armor to cover at least PART of the gap between 11 and 15 as the game progresses, and you'll have correspondingly higher stats in some other skill. I beat both Evil and Insane on my first try using that strategy. Go ahead and read the article I mentioned ..... it has you bank your last dozen or so skill points to use before the last battle with Terask, since you'll already have your best armor/weapons at that point. ( OK, I allocated them before the FIRST battle with Terask, but the principle is the same. My overall stat totals for the battles with Terask were probably at least 10 points higher than "normal", since I didn't wast any skill points ! )

You'll be surprised how much harder Terask is on the harder levels, especially Insane. You can't possibly take too many slowing potions for that batttle ! :P
