I came across with the petpet Flightning Bug and he had this great description. Can you guess what reference is this one:



Soon after, i came across this fun item, the Black Eyed Peas!

i just had to buy it. so now i am trying to make a gallery of great off-site references like those ones, either in the name, or in the description.
If someone can help me out, i would be greatly appreciated!

No, there's not plenty of items or anything else on it, the article was deleted yesterday. You can still see it cashed on Google, though.

In addition to the Amulet of Inevitable Betrayal (mentioned in the article) any Hoban articles might be considered a Firefly reference, since Hoban was named after Serenity's navigator, Hoban Washbourne.

It's been well documented, but the entire "how windmills work" mess is my favorite reference of all time.

EDIT: Sorry, I missed the part where you said you were making a gallery. The only relevant object I can think of is the Altador Prize "The Way Windmills Work."

Humm, yeah i like the amulet of inevitable betrayal, but it's kinda... unbuyable LOL i was thinkin something more along the 5-10k MAX just to get the gallery off the ground.

My favourite is the Scorchio (it's from a British comedy called the Fast Show, when a Spanish weather girl is presenting the weather when the whole of spain just has suns on the map, and she keeps going 'scorchio!!!' - honestly it's funny )

Ooh and it was nice when they did a Countdown related Lenny Conumdrum when the presenter of the British show Countdown, Richard Whitely, died. It was ace seeing him as a Chia
