Umm... Is everyone just missing the fact that 3 attempts have been made on Kuge's life and he's survived them all? That last one looked like a role power too...

From what I gathered, it was his stopped execution. Kuge said that it might have been stopped by the Governor, but later he said that it did appear that Tested did in fact stop it himself.
