Does anyone know any halfway good Role Play sites or forums anywhere else that is not in PPT? I'd prefer a fantasy kind but any will do. I'd appreciate it very much if someone could suggest something. (It's not for me, so if you know my preferences, they don't really apply. Sorry. ^^;;)

I heard that Lineage 2 was a good one, but I don't have a URL. You'll have to web search that one. :)

avidgamers.com has plenty of it, tell her to check the advertisement board.

If she wants to search for a while, Neo DOES have some good guilds out there. Some, but not many.

Councilofelrond.com forums- Largely Tolkein-based though.
Beware- there are a LOT of halfbreeds.

Have you tried a general search on http://www.yahoo.com or http://www.google.com ? They bring up hidden treasures :)

http://www.avidgamers.com , as suggested before. There are lots of amateur-sites, but go for the ones that have a better layout. Those ones tend to have more members and more decent staff.

The thing about avidgamers is that you have to switch from RP to RP about every few weeks. Interest in RPs dies very quickly when it comes to AG, but there are millions more to choose from, so don't worry ^_^

The IRC Roleplaying site http://www.home.aone.net.au/irc_rpg/home.htm is pretty good. It lists people who run their own rpgs, what kind, what type of characters they need, etc. You can also put yourself into the database and if a GM can contact you if they think you would fit into their game. It's a cool site to use.

Also, Skotos http://www.skotos.net/ is supposed to be pretty good, but I haven't played anything on there yet.

Yes, Avid Gamers has tons of roleplaying sites on both of their sites. AG1 is a bit better, but AG2 is newer, and is a little faster. The yhave waaaay too many DRoP RPs, Wolf RPs, and Horse RPs.

AG1- http://www.avidgamers.com
AG2- http://ag2.avidgamers.com

Yes, I have, but didn't find anything apart from Dungeons & Dragons.

http://www.aetolia.com Here's one that I play sometimes, it's what's called a MUD, or Multi User Dungeon. It's like an online, text-based community with a lot of people to play with, its a little more combat oriented than the above, but it's still a good one ;)

Oh, I just remembered another one. RPGGateway lists many, many kinds of RPs, from MMORPGs to text-based ones.
