Oh man, I shouldn't laugh, but...hee!
Yeowch. Seriously, don't they screen these callers? I've heard radio proposals before, and they usually ask how long they've known each other and other things about the relationship on the air before they call the person being proposed to. I almost wonder if it were staged—that just seems so...basic.

Some weird part of me always wonders if the girl(usually it's a girl) says yes because everyone's watching and that's what they want to hear. And if she did say yes without being sure, did she take him aside after the cameras were off and tell him she didn't want to marry him after all? Or did she chicken out and marry him?
I know a girl who was proposed to very publicly, said yes, and told the guy 30 seconds later that she wanted to break up. I think that happens a lot more than people realize. I've seen a total of 3 embarrassingly public proposals, and only one of the girls looked happy about everything.
Although, I know a guy who says he's going to propose to his girlfriend in front of as many people as possible so she has to say yes. People, this is not a good strategy for love...or anything else.
