For those topics one could describe as the forum equivalent of a twinkie. Word games, forum contests and giveaways are all the rage here.

I'm not going to be able to do updates today. Sorry

I got home later than I thought I would, and I have to leave soon. However, I'll go ahead and release the next side challenge.
Better Than TOSO--Verison 2.0
Games:
Evil Fuzzles From Beyond The Stars
My Score: 997
http://neopets.com/games/play.phtml?game_id=585
Maths Nightmare
My Score: 840
http://neopets.com/gamescores.phtml?game_id=150
Meepit Juice Break
My Score: 847
http://neopets.com/games/play.phtml?game_id=379
As with before, you can either take a screenshot of your score or send me your username, then I can check it. I tried to choose more puzzle games this time around, and it should be easier as well. Everyone should be able to beat the Maths Nightmare score if they try hard enough.
By the way, if you inserted the following code into a Java program, you would get an image of your prize:
window.setColor(Color=blue);
window.fillOval(0,0,100,100);
That is your hint. Remember, everyone who even attempts to beat a score will get a prize.
See you guys Sunday night!

Evil Fuzzles are evil, how is that the highest score to beat?
Sat Feb 17, 2007 8:45 am
This set of games seems easier than the last. The last set was harder. I might be able to beat even all of the scores. I hope.

(Psst, I think he meant to set the Meepit Juice Break score higher)

No, I really didn't. These are actually my scores. However, I wanted to make it possible for more than 2 people to win this time.

I'm back, Tom.
BTW, what turn are we on now? I haven't been around lately, and may have missed some...

Dyl beat Meepits and Fuzzles!

Pixa wins the Blue Orb!
Pixa and Dyl both win Item Balls!
Everyone also gets $700 for EVERY score they beat. So Okamoto gets $1400, Noo gets $2100, Dyl gets $1400, and Pixa gets $2100.

Why you still tryin' to keep me in suspense over the Baltoy?
Thanks for the Better Than TOSO competitions, they've been fun.
Tue Feb 20, 2007 6:25 am
Okamoto throws a Pokeball at Baltoy. 35 = PHAIL'D.
Noo throws an Ultra Ball at Baltoy. 52 = PHAIL'D.
Kuge throws a Poke Ball. 19 = PHAIL'D.
Okamoto throws a Timer Ball at Baltoy. 33 = SUCCESS!!!
Ric has not the money for a revive.
Pixa cracks open his Item Ball! It contains a Rare Candy!
Dyl cracks open his Item Ball! It contains a Potion!
Someday I'll tell you guys how Item Balls work, and then you'll be just as surprised as I am that the prizes have been this crappy so far. Anyway, working on updates now.
EDIT: Okamoto, Dyl, and Dracir have mysteriously disappeared. Everyone else can make bets (though PM) on who they think will be the victor. You don't need to wager anything, but anyone who guesses correctly will receive an Item Ball.

Postcards from Mysteriously Disappeared wrote:Greetings from Mysteriously Disappeared, wish you could be here. The cave is lovely this time of year, my newly acquired Potion and I are having a wonderful time.
Okamoto and Ric are here too, and they seem to be enjoying themselves, away from the harshness of the outside battle. We're all having fun on this vacation, which is odd because I think we're supposed to be locked in deadly combat.
My best wishes to Nooraz and everyone in the main battle. And congratulations to Tom for winning the Blue Orb. It looks like things might change up a bit, now that everyone's favourite targets (Okamoto and Ric) have gone on vacation. That's the way they were randomized I suppose. Have fun beating each other's brains out.
It looks like Ric couldn't buy a revive. That's too bad, especially since there doesn't seem to be a store anywhere around here. There doesn't seem to be anything around here.
Still, it's peaceful.
Well, enough of my musings, I should go now. I'll probably send another postcard sometime later. It looks like we're going to be here for a while.

But Med Revive

Well lookie there, no reason for the rest of us to even attack since the three will be facing off on their own.
I bet on Okamoto to win, by the way.
