My dad made me two pancakes yesterday. I ate them with lemon juice and sugar ^^ We also had some maple syrup but I just couldn't tear myself away from the tradition I've always had my pancakes ^^

I only eat them once a year! You can't say I'm fat because of some yearly pancakes! :( ;)

Aww! *hugs* Don't you just hate it when a day for enjoying food comes along and you can't enjoy it cos of some stupid mouth problem? I had that same problem with my wisdom teeth last year.

I was talking about pancake tuesday at school on tuesday and this girl turns around and says:

"Wow, you eat pancakes every tuesday? That sounds fun!"

And she was serious. Infact, all of the 5 girls sitting around me had never heard of it before. I get that not all people know about other religions but I went to public schools all my life and we used to get to eat free pancakes in the gym on shrove tueday, so it can't be that unheard of.

Ah, but it can and it is. I'd never heard of fat Tuesday until I was nine or ten, and even then it was only mentioned in passing.

*feels bad because of getting braces in 3rd grade and having them removed at the start of 4th*
