Looking at the difference between the cost of the prizes for Whack a Kass and Mimzy i think it's really quite unfair that only people who are in the US get the mimzy prizes, they're amazing and SO expensive! It's like giving US citizens a bonus, just for living in the US!

It wouldn't load for me either, with Firefox, but it worked okay in IE. So try a different browser?

When I saw it was Whack-A-Kass today I was like "Yay!" my highscore is 950 or something so 450 was like bleh. Of course then I first had to figure out how I'd gotten 950 in the first place.

Then I saw the prizes, which were bleh. Why give toys? Nobody wants toys, you can't do ANYTHING with the stupid things. The only toys I approve is of course plushies which are just cute. But what in the nine hells am I supposed to do with a windsock? A windsock?!

And this whole US "this", rest of the world "that" is just not...right. Plus (although you did get a crappier game) you got SO much better prizes.

'Tis not fair.

Yes, they should have made the prizes of equal value. I mean -anything- snowbunny is going to be more expensive than Whack-a-Kass prizes, especially considering how easy they were to get! I want a strawberry snowbunny plushie dagnabit!

This petpage is the one I use: http://www.neopets.com/~minochino

Because the little jump links at the top make it easy to find the picture you're on, fast. :)

Well you got to beat AAA at least once so far. :) Better than not at all like some people I'm sure. Yes I got the plushie so I'm not above everyone else. So feel free to blast me if you'd like. You can easily snipe one on the shop wiz I'm sure. I picked up a bouncy ball for 100NP so that was nice. The snowbunny items are pricey but not unheard of like some of the neofurniture that's been given out. And I know it stinks but didn't they have that Sultan's Quest which was available in Canada only?

I don't live in Canada, but i'm not really angry any more. Although i would like to pelt a few of the TNT executives with rotten trouts.

And why would i pay for something that i could have gotten free 'if only i had lived in a diferent timezone'

I think it's a bit wierd that tnt split this challenge up between the US and the rest of the world. I can understand that tnt would pick a sponsor game or two for the daily dare, I don't even mind if that will give tnt the $ to keep the site running and free, but why only choose a sponsor game for one country and a normal game for the rest of the world? o_O

I don't think it's really 'unfair' though. The prizes are only worth a few thousand np more, so it's not a huge deal.

Besides, I like my windsock :P

I do think that giving the U.S. an advantage in a "plot" is unfair. I can definitely understand why T.N.T. did it (The Last Mimzy is sponsoring the entire event), but still. If T.N.T. did a similar contest just in the U.S., as they have done before both here and abroad, it would have been more fair.
That said, everyone has his gripes with this Daily Dare plot. For example, how many of us were stupid and didn't think before we chose to beat AAA at Destruct-o-Match II? I'm one. Or, there are tons of games that were left off the monthly list. I'm amazing at Typing Terror, but, unfortunately, it didn't make the cut.
So, overall, I think that T.N.T. could have made better decisions, but c'est la vie. :)

I would have no complains if TNT had decided to give paying member better and different prizes, because obviously these people chose to pay. but most of us can't decide on where we live so it's kinda cruel to decide on one thing for one country and another for all the rest. and again it's not about the nps. i can buy the snowbunny, but i won't since it just reminds me of TNT and that annoys me.

I'm glad I was actually able to get the plushie that was AAA's prize today. The Meerca Chase one and the Hassee one I missed. I did manage to pick up the Hassee for 100 np on the ssw though. :P

I'm surprised that neopets would do something like this, I mean I can understand to a point about Mimzy sponsoring it and stuff. However, it's not really the user's fault if they live somewhere other than the US? o_O Oh well...

I'm not entirely sure how ad contracts work, but I assume they used the sponsor game only for the US because New Line Cinema is only paying Neopets for the pageviews made in the US. TNT figures "Why subject everyone else to ads (that everyone complains about) if no money comes from it?"

I have no problem with the setup, I like pair compare sponsor games. I didn't even realize the Mimzy game was one until today, so that'll make me an easy 3k a day until their contract runs out. :)

I did find it a bit odd that I'm in the US, with my country set to Canada, and I still got Mimzy.
