If it's not used for that use in the US, then how did it get here? Maybe next time they should watch out what get's in or near their food.

I only use Orijen for my cat. It's an organic, biologically appropriate food which I buy at an organic pet food store. I trust it much more than some of the big names out there.

It it available over the net? Curious cause I'm rather unsatisfied over all the artificial and unhealthy stuff in our cat food. Neways.

Why do I get the feeling terrorists are trying to kill our pets now too.. *insert old old ninja smiley*

No wonder its making people sick, its cat food. Cat food is for cats. Not humans. You must resist. :D

There are a lot of excellent foods out there - and you can't get ANY of them at regular stores/grocery stores. They're more pricey, but your pet will eat less and it balances out over time. Also on the better foods, you have fewer health problems, and save on vet bills.

Not to mention, those foods have MUCH better quality control.

The most important thing is to read the first five ingredients. If you see stuff like corn, wheat, etc - it's a bad, bad food. Dogs and cats can't even digest corn and grains. They're just filler material that the animal poops out later. (So there's less poop on good food, too. ;) ) Sometimes you'll find things in the food that's just plain disgusting. Like "animal digest" - which is whatever's left in the guts of the animal they killed to make the food.

If you don't have any way of ordering online or getting to a store that sells stuff like Californa Natural, Innova, Solid Gold, etc . . . Get thee to a Petsmart and pick up a bag of Blue Buffalo. Their number one ingredient is deboned chicken, and although there are grains in it, it's much, much healthier than grocery store pet foods like Iams and such. I finally convinced my best friend to start feeding it to her cat, and my dogs ate BB before I switched to Solid Gold.

I wouldn't reccomend Nutro, even though lots of people think it's good, it's really overpriced and not much better than grocery store food.
