Don't fall over and chip your hip. My friend did that. He's still in France. Kind of skiing but not really.
Have loads of fun. :]

Wow, sounds amazing, but it's not something I could EVER do. I hate the cold. Gimme sunshine and warmth any day!
Have fun! ^^

I misread that as 'chip your hair' and got REALLY confused.

LOL. Make sure you know how to stop on those skis. *remembers the last time I went skiing* (I crashed through a group of people learning how to ski, and then into a fence. Never going to ski again)

And make sure you go up the right lift! If you go up the expert lift and you are actually a beginner, it is not fun, believe me.
Have fun, Emma!

I distinctly remember falling down an enbankment while skiing, needless to say, you couldn't imagine how painful it is to twist your ankle while a ski is still attached to your foot and oh my, the mechanism is jammed and your hands are so cold your fingers are just numb and are feeble against the unlocking catch..

Oooo Italian Border... Quick! Go to an Autogrill and buy me chocolate!
*cries* Lots and lots of chocolate. I miss the Italian border. I think i've flown over the area you're talking about. But definately have fun skiing.
I hurt myself while skiing. Last time I went (first time in Whistler) I honestly twisted myself around and hit the broadside of a mountain.
After that I just shopped. It's a far better sort for me.

Have fun! I'm sure you will. I was just in Flims snowboarding at Laax over New Year's. Talk about a dream come true. I had so much fun and have never seen slopes that big until I was over there. Makes the East Coast here in the States practically seem like a waste of time.

Haha, when I saw the title, I thought "Emma's leaving? Why would Emma ever leave ppt?"
... and then I opened it and realised it was just for a few days
Have a great time. Skiing is
. I'm jealous.

It sounds like everyone is trying to scare you into staying home, Emma. It's because we love you!
Oh well, enjoy it and stay warm!
