Our redrawn uni's? You mean our My Little Pony's, don't you? Have you seen the Halloween Uni???? Poor thing. I bought the PB and morphing potion for a friend and now feel like asking him if he'd rather have a koi. Nightsteed my butt. Nightsteed with a food fetish maybe.

When I was a little girl, all I wanted was to own a my little pony to ride. But instead I got a short fat arabian who loves me. Oh well.

Give a little love to the redrawn uni's. Anything thats a Horse shaped object can't be all bad.

EULALIA, GIVE'M SALT AND VINEGAR! EH WOT!

I have noticed that the guilds page still has white space - it is not fitting the screen like the other pages.

No no My Little Ponies now look like the half starved big sister ponies from near the end of the old ponies days. The Halloween Uni would be made fun of as too fat and would then go on a rampage and set fire to neohomes with their hooves.
Okay I haven't lost my sense of hummor about neopets yet this is a good sign. Even if my bori does look crosseyed and my hissi lost its wings for hands.

And EULALIAcause I had too.
And for those of you with lupes AYOOOAH!!

Well, I took the advice and filed a few complaints through some submission forms. One well thought out complaint outlining the problems and why we feel that way.

The other was a simple message to the Editor, hopefully if they get enough like it, they'll take the hint.

Thanks, you've taken what little of the original Neopets we had left, and crushed it into a fine powder. Any rocks I throw at you guys won't be ones reading "You rock"

Guilds must be one of the pages they haven't gotten to yet.

Speaking of updated pages I am really not caring for how the gameroom is looking. To me it seems like alot of scrolling and tumbnails for no real reason and the ad on that page just seems horridly in the way.

Also do we really need a top games and showcased games? ontop of the featured games and new games? Seems alot to me.

As I previously said I hope that with all these new modules (Boxes that everything is in since i got told someone didnt know what a module was) that most of the pages will become personaly customable for each person! I think that would help alot of people feel more comfortable with the new layout

Mind if I submit that too? My poor, poor Neopets site...

Oh, anyone know who the current CEO of Neopets is or how to email them? I have a page and a half letter to send them...

Fri Apr 27, 2007 3:27 am

Sure. You'd hope that if they get lots of complaints, they might pay attention to the fully written ones and perhaps even send personalized responses to some.

Be careful what you send to neopets, especially if the new U.S. hate crime bill passes. I hear it is going to be full of loopholes so if you sent in "RIP Neopets" they might take that as a threat and you could go to jail.

I am still trying to wrap my head around all this. I hope I am having a nightmare because that is what it feels like.

They "just" cleaned up Pet Central and we loved that; they "just" remade the Games Room and most people hated that. And whoever said we got used to it simply because there were not as many complaints, think again.

Every time I went to that arcade of a games room (or even loaded any game from an external link), it lagged my browser for seemingly half a minute and 'freezes' it in a way that I can't click on any other link, on neopets or otherwise on the web! Whatever script modules they have apparently decided to now go hog wild with are an abomination!

Now they redo everything and the items on the site don't even "match" the new site style well. They might as well change the Neopets name too.

I hope that they find it in their cold dark hearts to let this be OPTIONAL.

As I said earlier... I like the idea of boycotting AND sending complaints to the Neopets team. I don't blame the staff, I blame the management. They care more about customizing the site so that sponsors can flash ads in our faces than anything else.

I'm just so downhearted because I know that NOTHING we do can change this. The upper level people deemed that the site needed a facelift, they spent the cash, they're not about to revert it back, no matter HOW much the users (even us old timers) complain. They don't care.

Lol, TDG, that one got me in stitches. No more you rock for TNT unless someone is lobbing one at them. lol. I know that staffers have read our site in the past, I do hope that the same holds true now. After all, PPT has always been their pulse. So, hopefully they will look to us instead of the boards. Some of the boards are so vicious right now. People who were friends on the premiums boards are now enemies. It is sad to see. The top guys in Neopets need to see just how passionate people are about their site. No matter what side they are on. This isn't just a game to many users. And I do think that TNT either forgets that--or ignores it.

When I first reloaded my page this morning... my first thought was "damn right I wasn't prepared". I have been playing Neopets for over 6 years and this is certainly a hell of a change, but it it really isn't that bad. Now that I have had a couple of hours to have a look, I am getting used to it. It isn't like they have gotten rid of anything, more just changed it around a little. I think I would be more upset if I had a pet that changed radically (although my Lenny will change, but he was already a pretty ugly tyrannian to begin with).

Godori is broken for me though :(

TDG Edit: Do not bypass the filter

I never really wanted to dress my pets up in clothes. . . I do however like that they drew eyelashes on the girls . . it sets them apart. . .I don't however like the fact that they're all raising a fist in defiance. . .what's up with that??? I don't want their fist to be raised! They're not trying to start a fight! The more I look at the new concepts the more I find wrong . . .

Fri Apr 27, 2007 3:35 am

When I first reloaded a page after the DFMT, I actually thought for a split second that my browser screwed up and loaded everything all funny. Similar to some of the CSS displacement that occasionally happens when a page loads improperly. They are gonna need more ad revenue after many people stop playing a lot less or stop playing at all because of this.

You know, frankly, the biggest concern I have is the sidebar module (which according to the FAQ can't be hidden as an option).

Really, since most of the site is done on pages, not necessarily while staring at your pet, if they'd just move the sidebar to the right, instead of on the left (so that you see the page content FIRST, since most everyone reads right to left), that'd be a huge bonus.

By the way, did everyone else miss this post?
