Sierra, I feel for you. I don't have dial up, but my computer is somewhat old and my monitor is small. So, pages are taking forever to load and when they do load, I have to scroll to see them. Whatever in the hell was Neo thinking in doing this?
Morningstar, I'm in the same boat you're in -- my computer is an older model, as well, with a 17-inch monitor. Not all of us are blessed with extra discretionary income or funds to spend on a new computer every couple of years.
Sure, I can increase my resolution to 1024x768, but it puts a serious strain on my graphics card and resources. So I rely on 800x600 dpi. As you know, it's awfully tedious to scroll sideways on every page. I wish TNT would at least move the new modules over to the right-hand side of the page instead of the left. Not only would I not have to scroll so much, I wouldn't have to keep staring at my poor, wimpy-looking, cutsey Spotted Zafara. I want my old pets back!!
The other thing that bothers me is the module showing what Neofriends are online. It's an invasion of personal privacy, IMHO.
I, too, miss the "old" days when Adam and Donna directly communicated with PPT members. It always gave us a sense that TNT cared about us. Since Viacom's buyout of the site, however, it feels like we really don't matter a hoot.
