Been looking at everyone's solutions, trying to get some clue on my own. I got the first two puzzles, but just can't get the last one. I've been working on it off and on for the last two days - I keep going somewhere else, to get away from it, and coming back. But no help.
Tried the "put the odd ones" in corners, can't seem to do it. Every single time I try, I get left with at least one or two empty spaces.
GAH! If anyone can help, it would be appreciated!!

Hi.
Right, your puzzle isn't really that difficult. You just need start off with one wriggly ropey bit at the bottom and fit your mop and bucket around that. You should be able to build from there.
From your picture, the mistake you are making is in the trying to place your blocks. You know you don't have any single blocks, so why even place the lines of three the way you have?
I'm happy to do a solution and give you the first two places - if you set your puzzle out on a grid and provide the pices like blood_baby did a few pages back.

Yours is relativly easy. Place the cross piece FIRST and work around that. There are only a few combinations where you will be able to get more than two pieces in, keep trying and you'll have it within 10-15 tries.
