Oh my, I'd totally love to get the option to change my lutari back to its original artwork. I'd never customize him, or even want to, if I could go back in time to when he was cute.

No, it's the right way. They might not have changed the art, but my 'old' gelert is way smaller than my 'new' Kougra. Then again, it might have been like that before the revamp, I just never really noticed it..

I agree - this would be great. Even if it were only like, every 3 months after you hit 2 years or something - random rewards would be great. Maybe they could set up a collection page similar to what they've done for the game master challenges, except you collect based on major milestones in account age, etc...? Maybe there could even be a bonus prize for creating and keeping the same pet for a long period of time? {shrugs} I think it'd be cool if there was a chance to win more of the rarer items (p/bs, other retired items, etc).
It would be even cooler if they gave out special untradeable items kinda like newbies get, except much, much cooler than starter p/bs and origami petpets - maybe some special battledome weapons or very spiffy petpets? {shrugs}.
They *did* say they'd be rewarding older members about a year and a half ago, after which they made the monthly freebies (which you hafta be a month old to collect, if I remember right, and tends to give out junk...), put limits on the pound as to what you could adopt, and put limits on what rarity items you could see in shops. This being said, they probably have no intentions of giving older members any more "rewards" - unless they just forgot. Hm....maybe something to send to the editorial?

I vote for a release for super attack peas, to all veterans!

I really don't think it's a good idea to limit the amount of peas or in that case any of the smuggler cove items. Maybe a release once a month or something.
Or have some special user recognition day that depending how old your account is, the better rewards and things you get to do.

Someone should email that idea in!! It'd make sure the older users stick around, wouldn't it?
Make it a daily, or something. So everyday you can visit, and buy a item of increasing rarity... Starting from something like a volcanic rock (1 month) to Super Attack Peas (6 or 7 years).

They're not showing any interest in user loyalty these days. They really just seem to want to bring in the unstable hordes of preteens and young teenagers, who stick around for a couple months and move on to the next fad.

How about the Lenny Library, as advertised on the Pet Central page? It's what it made me think of, though I can't really say I automatically related justice to it.
