Ugghhh. This makes me glad that:

1. I don't play Subeta
2. That I use many different passwords for different sites. I use at max 3 sites for 1 pass.

woah. Just got NINETEEN emails from subeta regarding passwords resets. All from different IP addresses. For a frozen account, no less! XD

Of course I just marked them all as junk. :P

Remove the IP Addresses from that message wouldn't be a bad idea. Someone getting ahold of that isn't the wisest of things-- hacker or not. You can trace it and get their full name, address, et cetera. Shall we let them have a little privacy?

Well, considering Parantheses got different IPs in all the emails they received, I doubt it's gonna be an issue.

Yeah, I doubt they're worried about people finding out who they are.

Probably have one of those random IP address macro script thingies. But aren't those, like... illegal...?

Sorry, guys, but I'd have to side with the #chans on this one. Longcat was theirs for years before Subeta came around. Granted, DDoS might not be the best way to vent anger, but their hearts are in the right spot. Also, you'd be a fool if you didn't think the people attacking Subeta would not be using proxy IPs.

I'm not sure. Have you ever seen the Monty Python skit "Killer Cars"? If not, easy enough to Google, and it's on YouTube.

That's not true. Chan is turning into YTMND a bit, now. There are so many eleven year olds in those places who think they know how to hack, when in fact, they're just nubs who want to be like the real "haxxors" on #chan, Something Awful, Fark, etc.

They're proxies, and no they're not. I had one for a while, can't get it working though. I have too many firewalls on my PC, and I'm not sure of which port they run on. What my one was supposed to do though, was pick an unique anonymous IP everytime I start up Firefox-- in order to bypass bans on internet forums, or whatnot.

Could not get it working though. As I said, I don't know what ports it runs in, in order to forward them.

Great. They made longcat. Lovely. That doesn't give them the right to ruin a bunch of people's hard work.

This fight over Longcat doesn't give anyone the right to hack into accounts. Most of the people playing on Subeta just want to be able to play the game without getting drawn into this controversy.

I don't give a hoot who owns what in terms of trademark or copyright. It is not right to mess up innocent players' accounts, etc. Just my 2 cents worth...

Looking to buy Snowbunny Stamp and Sticky Snowflake Stamp. If you're selling, please PM me!

I was all for hating the *Channers for this whole thing.

Until I found out Keith started to taunt them and used DDoS attacks against them as well.

Then I just felt bad for the poor Subeta users who were caught in the middle of this thing.

I don't know who had longcat to begin with but if it was a stolen trademark it should have been handled properly in a more mature manner. Attacking other people's websites was uncalled for. For all I know Gaia, DeviantArt, and all the Subeta Fansites had nothing to do with this and they were also attacked in some form.
