Np combusken ^^ I haven't even finished the Jr. Necki skin one yet...
Thanks for the help in finishing the 100 octo legs quest yrave ^^
And thanks to everyone else in the guild, you guys pwn all other servers/guilds/whatever!
I'm stuck at lvl 25... I prepare myself for lvling each time, but then all of the sudden something happens. Like, last time I escorted an army of newbs who had wandered into the ant hill (I did that when I was new xD) and escorted them to Henesys. All of them made it, but all of them died too xD. I also gave away 1k to a nice newbie I was sharing a map with (for a quest) and then he turned out to have a lvl 40 main, and he gave me all this stuff ^^

Haha, you guys attract weirdos? I'm like a freaking candy bar lying on the ground being snacked upon by an army of ants I'd like to call freaks. xD

LOL, in MapleStory Thailand (I think) they have girl neckis which are incredibly ugly and Neckis. They are HUGE >.>
I almost missed Double Exp over the weekends and my idiot friend sold a maple shield for 15k. Then a Maple crow for 150k.
And me? I got nothing.
But anyway, how much are 1000 tobi stars worth?

I just joined a few days ago. I'm level 10 and I'm working on being a bowman. How do the guilds work? Is there a list anywhere?

Which server/world did you choose? Basically, for guilds, you just ask a person who is in one to ask their leader, or someone else with guild powers, to add you into the guild. Many guilds have some sort of level/class/ethnicity restrictions, though, so if you decide you want to join one, ask if there are any such restrictions first.

Are there any benefits to being in a guild? I'm not sure I understand the party thing completely either.
btw, someone told me that I had messed up my character because I was at level 10 and my dexterity was not high enough to be a bowman. He told me to make a new character. Is this true??

It depends, what's your DEX? To be an archer, you gotta have 25 DEX (at least).
I FOUND A MAPLE STAFF! (about time, too)
from a red snail. It must've been one rich snail.

Yeah, if you don't have enough Dex to make the Job Advancement, you've missed 3 skill points which are pretty much vital.
You may want to look at some guides on various sites to help you out on your AP and SP distribution.

Sleepywood.net
Global.hidden-street.net

Thanks for the game guides. I created a new character and got to the level and dexterity I needed to become an archer. ^_^
edit: (o_O) This game is incredibly in depth. Some of the character guides alone are a few pages.

Yeah, it's much easier than it sounds, though. A lot of it is stuff you may not need to know. All you really need to look at are Skill Distribution (if you have any questions about this, just ask), AP distribution, and where you should be training (even though you can experiment with this later on, there's no real set training spot).

Thanks! The guides you showed me help with the skill builds and training areas. I do have a question about parties though. I've been involved in a few and even made the leader of one and I've seen the advantages of exp. being shared and so on, but is there anything I need to know about parties before I go run off inviting whoever spawns in?

Well, just stay away from hackers and you'll be fine. Also, the higher the level of the person in your party (say you invite a level 50 or something), I believe you don't get EXP for their kills. Other than that, the more people you have in a party, the less EXP a person gets per kill, but now that they've added the Party Bonus in (I think two patches ago), you get a good chunk of EXP for larger parties too.
