The big screen and the small screen... together at last! Hurrah!

IMO, Futurama is more creative, but Simpsons is funnier overall (Or at least it was in its prime).
Anyways, I'm sorry for bumping this up BUT there's another trailer. It's similar to the other one. Again, this trailer isn't giving anything away.
Movie website and
Theatrical trailer (Final one?)And yes, that is Green Day. :/

"Spiderpig, Spiderpig, does whatever a Spiderpig does"
That was friggin' hilarious; I can't wait to see this movie.
But in my opinion, it does give the plot away; the government is planning to destroy Springfield for some reason. And The Simpsons are going to stop it, right?

Maybe, but:
James L. Brooks noted, "We saw a trailer the other day, and somebody said 70 percent of the things in it — based on where we were eight weeks ago — are no longer in the movie, because we keep on fooling around."
(That's the previous trailer, not the one I just posted, but they're both pretty similar)
I think it does have to do with the environment (Erin Brockovich is in it) and Homer screwing up the world though.

Simspons and Greenday.
This may well be the divine will of everything I hate about American culture.
Spider pig WAS funny though.

I can't wait. There's a big simpsons couch (made of ceramic or something) with the whole simpson family sitting down (even bigger than life size) in my local theater. I had my friend sit next to a giant homer while I took a picture, lol.
I have the movie count down on my dashboard *go mac!* and it's on 33 days now. aahhhhh!!! I can't wait!

Those couches be everywhere. Except here in Wellington, someone always leaves a puddle of something in the empty seat.

but eh, I knew we couldn't have been the only ones with the couch.

Oooh there is a couch here too! I kicked a kid out of it so I could sit in the empty spot

.
I have really hated the simpsons for about the last.. 9 years or so, but the movie does look good so I will give it a chance.

I want to see what Greenday might be doing in the movie, and what homer and the family are up to aswell. I do think the trailer does give alot away.........but i love spiderpig

I saw Matt Groening on TV talking about it, and all he said was "we needed a good premise for the movie, so we thought about Homer falling in love with a pig, and the movie wrote itself".

I can't get "Spiderpig! Spiderpig! Does what ever a Spiderpig does! Look out! He is a Spiderpig!" out of my head. xD

I love the Spiderpig. xD I also like the part where Ralph was standing in the 20th Century Fox thing singing "Da da da da da, da da da da da" to the fanfare.

I looked at the IMDb cast/crew list and saw a lot of names I liked on there: Al Jean and Mike Reiss(the show runners for Season 4, BEST SEASON EVER), George Meyer(who worked on a lot of early great episodes), and John Swartzwelder(who's written more episodes of The Simpsons than any other writer, as well as a book I read called The Time Machine Did It that was pretty darn awesome). The plot isn't important, and if it's anything like most episodes, we won't get to the actual storyline until we're a third of the way through the movie anyway.
I'm trying not to go into the movie with ridiculously high expectations, but it's kind of hard. I'm also deliberating about my costume possibilities, although most likely my friends and I will just tie onions to our belts.
