This poll is for those who have some interest in cash items. What do you think of the prices? When the testing version came out, I thought the prices were good. Now we can keep the items for twice as long, but they are twice the cost. Although I am one of the people who were hoping for permanent items, if an item is going to expire anyway, then I'd rather have it for a shorter time so that I can pay less and change items more often.

I'd be interested in purchasing something if the item never expired...that's stupid.

That would be nice, although I don't know if we'll ever get items that don't expire.

An option to choose the length of time would be nice, but people would just take it too far and choose like, 1000 days.

But like I've said ...the prices aren't even that high, and the items last longer than they do on MapleStory ...so people on Neopets really don't have a lot to complain about at the moment. You can start when you have to pay 20$ for some clothing that expires in 90 days. Now that's tough. :(

$20 for 90 days? I don't think I'll ever play MapleStory.

If they did decide to allow some options for time frames, they don't have to allow a longer time period than they are comfortable with. They could offer the options of 90 days, 180 days, 270 days, or 360 days. A year's not an unreasonable time frame.

Other. I've no interest in buying something that's not real that'll expire at any point. I'd certainly buy a couple of things for that five dollars option, but it's a rip off that it fades off.

They shouldnt have made the items fade as a marketing strategy , they should have instead made them permanent and kept introducing new items.. now people are leery about spending real cash for an item that goes poof. But of course there are many ways around having to actually pay if you cant afford it or dont have a credit card (that are perfectly legal and comply with Neopets TOS)

Http://www.Neocash.us - Why shouldnt ALL of neopets be free? :)

Unfourtunatly they fade. And that is the only thing really stopping me from maybe getting a thing or two from the mall. It just really doesn't seem worth it, althought the prices are very reasonable.

That's what I'm saying too. It just doesn't make sense to spend money on something that isn't going to stay. I've seen a couple of things in there that I might consider purchasing if it weren't for the fact they go away. So I don't buy them. I wonder what their purpose in having that happen is... o_O

Are you sure about that? I'm pretty sure getting someone to buy NC items on your account for you and then reimbursing them with neopoints is against several rules. What else were you thinking of?

That would be agains the rules if it were possible, but luckily it's not. It is possible, however, to have a friend or family member buy neocash for you and then pay them back in real money.

Would it be against ToS to use someone's credit card to buy NeoCash, if you don't have one, and pay them back on other game sites? Just a thought, yeah.

Well, you don't actually use credit cards to buy neocash. You use a paypal account. They probably don't care whose paypal account it is, as along as you have permission to use it. I'd imagine that if somebody was letting you use their paypal account, it would probably be somebody you know in real life.
