Didn't the UK have a promotion action a while ago? With McDonalds? I seem to remember my friend talking about it (she's half Dutch half English) I think she was pestering her mom to go to McDonalds when she was over there.

ye i thought only the USA had the mcdonalds promotion?
My brothers live in the Uk, and one of them being a poor, crazy art student, then off course he lives off mcdonalds so he never heard of any neopets promotion when I had asked him. I also know that the middle east didnt get the neopets-mcdonalds promotion simply because I lived in the middle east at that time, and they only had barbie toys at that time.

Personally, even if they did have the neopets promotion whilst i was still in the middle east, I would only go into mcdonalds for dear life since Ronald mcdonald scares the hell out of me!

Hmm, then I must have misunderstood my friend. I will ask her about it next time I see her.
Knowing this I must agree with you all, it is kinda weird that Holland gets neopets before the UK. Not to badmouth my own counrty but the UK is (in my opinion) better known then The Netherlands.
Now I feel really bad for you, I'd almost start sending you all the pets I get.

Mac's in Singapore had Neopets toys you could buy, they were the tiny, Happy Meal-sized plushies, barely bigger than your hand, and they came seperate from Happy Meals. They also came with a promotional TCG card, but no codes.

Singapore needs more Neo, the only chances we've had to buy other Neopets-related stuff were two different days years ago, and boy, were the queues long. The only things they had were Blue Aisha, Red Scorchio and Purple Chia plushies, two designs of B6 of A6 notebooks, and assorted stickers, and only in very limited stock, as it was a one-day thing.
