Say WHAT? I played eight hundred games of Yooyuball to get that red trophy, and it's not even on my lookup?!?!?! :x *FUME!*

I mean, not that I'm disappointed with my silver trophy showing the team I support.... but I worked *so hard*. And the trophies are decided only by the team you supported, they say nothing at all about how hard you worked. Why can't they put your score or at least your rank under the trophy? That would mean so much more to me than prizes. User lookup shinies are one thing you can't buy with Neopoints.

I just hope the Darigan yooyu or techo fist will be valuable enough to compensate me for my time, but I fear they won't be. According to Battlepedia the fist is pretty lame - three icons of dark damage, two icons of physical damage and three physical defence. Cool as a gallery item, but that's about it. I was going to say the Darigan paintbrush will probably drop in value as a result of this, but it costs so damn many points that I doubt many people will buy it. Those that get a zillion points might prefer to buy the top prize, which will be worth a fortune.

You can click on the trophy to see your stats.

I am REALLY disappointed that the clockwork Yooyu isn't a petpet. For some reason I thought it would be. I wanted one so bad. But even if it was I probably couldn't afford it anyway, considering I can't afford the Darigan Yooyu.

I'm not sure what I'm going to buy, I've got 5,040 points. *wish I would have played more*

I got 1,525 points, so of course I bought the Slushie Slinging for Novices book for my gallery.

I'm still debating what to get, and probably will for at least a few more days. My husband got just over 20k points, and he's not sure either. I really want a Darigan Yooyu to add to my collection, but if I get that, I can't get the drinking cap thing (I have roughly 27k points). I may just buy the Yooyu from someone else and get the cap just because I can. I'm not thrilled with the BD items - I was hoping they might be better than that, but 5 attack and 3 defend? That seems like so little...but yeah. I usually don't sell plot prizes...I just let them sit in my SDB and go smile (or groan) at them from time to time.

Thirded.

As far as the trophies go, I think Krawk really got the short end of the stick. While I'm happy with my trophy (and the fact that I can look at my pretty shield whenever I want)...I think Krawk should've at least had a "runner up" medal with their team logo on it. I can understand them not wanting to make individual trophies for all 16 teams, but seriously. If you do the top three, you should have done the top 4, since they all made the finals. Also, it looks like there were supposed to be "supporter" trophies for those who joined one of the top three teams at the end, but no one seems to actually have received them.

On another note...we didn't get "team" prizes this year. IE, for having stuck with the team all the way through (like last year's books). This kinda disappointed me (once I realized it), as I had been really looking forward to the idea of getting something team-specific. I'm proud to have played for the Rooligans!

From what I gathered on the neoboards (yes, I risked peeking in there), those who hadn't spent their points for last year lost 'em. Like, poof, gone. I would've hoped that they would have at least carried over to this year, but I guess not.

Maybe we'll get answers to some of these questions in the editorial?

The clockwork yooyu would have been a great petpet!

Heck, I just wish that I would have something to show I played for KI - even though we lost.. we did make it to the finals :(
And I got more than I thought I would, which isn't bad. I thought I'd get like 100-200 points, but got almost 700. Yay! For not spending too much time playing, I'm happy. :)

I agree. I played for Krawk Island and I just have a "participant" trophy. I wish we could have gotten a 4th place one. But oh well. It's a trophy.

Quick question:

Are there any avatar or theme prizes from this?

I thought TNT said (in editorial) that the clockwork Yooyu was not a petpet, therfore it was not inhumane that it explodes. I don't think they'll change thier stand on it becuase of that, no matter how cool of a petpet it would make.

Poor Krawk Island. :( No trophy for us

Even if they didn't make it a petpet, it would've been an awesome battledome item. I mean, seriously. If it can throw that many people that far across the arena, why are we giving it to our baby pets to play with? :P

I agree, the clockwork yooyu would have made a great 'bomb' BD item, a la the clockwork grundos as we know them.

Hm... considering that I missed the start of the Cup... was ill during the middle of the Cup... missed the end of the Cup... and only managed to scrounge 17 wins (one draw)... I'm pretty happy that I got 208 points.

Yay Bobblehead Doll - the only new thing I could get. =D I'm grateful that I got a Participant Medal considering everything. At least it proves that I tried. -shrugs-

Yeah that makes sense now that I think of it. I didn't think of that though when I first saw the prize list and 'clockwork yooyu' was on it. Still they could have made it a petpet, just not alive, like the cardboard ones.... It's just that I came up with this really cool idea and it would have gone perfect with one of my pets because of his name - MalignClockwork. So I'm still bummed out.
