I got a fairy quest and logged on to my side account to buy the item. ("Doirn") . I sent that item, and a book that acct had in inventory back to my main acct. When I logged back in to my main account, the items were not there. I got 2 neomails saying that my side acct sent me the items, but they are not in inventory. They aren't back in the side acct, either.

What's up? should I be looking elsewhere? Do I have to go somewhere to accept them? (It's been a while)

Thanks for any help!

*ouch*

Um... I'm so ignorant of the Neopets TOS... but is it allowed to purchase things with your side account in order to benefit your main account?

But to answer... you aren't alone with disappearing items. One of my friends can't accept anything sent to her right now. :(

In order to receive an item, you must go to the Item Event Log (you can get there from your Inventory) and Accept or Reject the item. If you don't accept or reject within 2 days, it will automatically be returned to the sender.

Why didn't I receive an item my friend sent me? Why didn't my friend receive an item I sent them?

Whenever an item is given between two users, the recipient must accept or reject the item at their Item Event Log.

If the item is accepted, it will appear in their inventory, if it is rejected, it will be sent back to the sender.

If the item has not been accepted or rejected within 48 hours of it being sent, it will be returned to the sender.

Please be cautious of who you accept items from. If you do not know the sender and the item is a fairly valuable one, it may be best to simply reject it.

well i can sort of relate, since a few weeks ago I went looking in my SDB for my Tale of Woe plot prizes and I only find 3 things of the 7 that I bought with my points. I know they cant ahve been removed since i never touch my plot prizes until they are super rare.
I did try sending a bug problem report thing to TNT but have never ehard back........if i were you I would try and see if you really did send it to your main account. I did something similar once and typed in one wrong number with sent it to what ever user had such a similar name. :(

Unfortunately you are breaking the rules doing that.

You can still buy items while on a quest, you just can't use the Wiz, so instead of sending the items from your side, just look for a shop on your side and copy the name into the Search Neopets box and buy the item on your main account.

As posted, you need to accept or reject items - to to your inventory and click on the Item Event Log.
