What do you all think of comedies coming up on tv now. In the UK things on "thrusdays are funny" are rubbish in my opinion. But Omid Djalili on BBC is the funnies ever!

Oh dude, fail! Omid Djalili has like 2 jokes that aren't even that funny the first time around...his show is kind of crap.

HIGNFY was excellent the last I saw (Charlie Brooker + Russell Brand) and Buzzcocks is on good form :)

Lauren. Cooper. :o :o *obbsessive* But some of the other skecthes are fun. Someone once said you have to live in London to understand some of 'em. I don't know, but, those, things, are HILARIOUS. :roflol:
The best comedy I've seen would'a been the one with Dr Who and Lauren. :o

Have I Got News For You is hilarious! The one a few weeks ago with Anne Widdicombe was great.

Possibly because no one's mentioned anything but British comedies? I've never even heard of anything mentioned in this thread(except the BBC and Tony Blair).

What choo talkin' bout?

Most of them should be on BBC /Foreign place.
I know Australia and the states have their own versions, which means "Am I bovvered" and "Computer says no" Has spread to all the relevant parts of the world (He said, jokingly)

Well, they've apparently not penetrated the Kentuky consciousness, meaning I don't hear people discussing Omid Djalili when I'm out and about. And I only have broadcast--ABC, NBC, CBS, PBS, Fox, and a few other channels that we sometimes get if the television's in the right room and the antenna is pointed toward some mystical location that makes it impossible to receive the regular stuff.
So in conclusion, I have no idea what you guys are talking about.

Ask and receive.
My favorite comedy is 30 Rock. It had a great season (insert 'so far' if the strike ends). They did a really fun job this time. Making fun of the environmentalists and Al Gore with the Greenzo episode. I loved the one when the recreated the entire Iraq War with little league.
Others I like include the rest of the NBC Thursday. I don't really watch any other comedies though...

That would be a minimum of an extra US$50 a month to get BBC America in this part of the country. It is not really worth it since the other channels that would be included aren't really that good either. (No one needs 50 more MTVs! Although CNN International and all the other Discovery and History Channels would be great).

Oh! You only want to include one country in the whole world in this discussion. So ignore all the above since we are excluded.
