I am just wondering whether we will have sides in this plot. Something a little different to the last couple were we all worked together.

Something like: Resistance and Minions or even Helpers and Warriors?

I also wouldn't mind having something like in the LDP or ToW where you teamed up on certain steps.

Yeah if this plot has tons of battles I'm not ready. I have a level 26 pet but that's it along with a decent battledome set.

Oh gosh, you can feel the site getting really laggish.

Given that we've still got that "enter authorization" section on Kreludor, I feel pretty confident that it'll be more than just a war. And that's good. I really, really liked the Lost Desert Plot. So much so that I'm one of those people with a Ring of the Lost. :)

I hope that TNT did incorporate the mining corp into this plot and somehow that sad little blue grundo.

I really went crazy on the LDP - I got 2nd place for Top Sand Movers and I am also a person with a RotL (use it at every opportunity). :)

I did horribly in the LDP...I dunno, I just lost interest or fell off the wagon at some point (that crazy maze). Every other plot though (except the Gaze one), I've been pretty gung-ho, especially the ToW one which is still one of my favorites. Needless to say, I'll be really into this one too.

I would love for that poor blue grundo to get some love! Poor cute little thing... <3

Heh, I went crazy on LDP - but I couldn't do much for the Sand Moving, as if I recall correctly, I was under mandantory evacuation because of hurricane Rita that weekend. Naturally, where I ended up (Grandparent's), they had dial-up and there was no point in even trying to get on Neopets.
If we'd gotten trophies for furniture moving though... ;)
For some odd reason, instead of getting the ROTL, I got all of the books (I had 184,300 points - which was enough for one of each of the books). They still make get all nostalgic when I see them in my SDB (blasted Anubis Toxicology Reports!) - but sometimes I wish I'd gotten the ROTL. My husband got the ROTL instead of the books (he was just shy of enough points for all of the books), and uses it frequently.

I'm one of those people that once I get started on a plot, I get all into it. It doesn't faze me to sit for long periods of time (sometimes multiple hours) and battle, dig graves, move furniture, play yooyuball or what not. I think I proved my insanity during the Altador Cup. :P

Sorry to say, but unless you have been hibernating for about 2 months, then you would have seen all the little hints - in the Editorials, on the boards, in the magazine (when it was available) and here on PPT.

A plot was definitely coming ( I thought at Christmas) but TNT all but confirmed about 2 weeks ago in the Editorial about a plot at the end of January.

This is the ONE time that you need to listen to rumours. :)

** I have 4 points left to reach 350 strength boost. KQ's gave 4!!!! stat points to my non-battle pet. I could have cried.

Good luck with your BD set. I haven't changed much of mine in ages. RotL, HP and RSB are my mains.

So are there any steps yet?

I am SO MAD at myself right now. I was debating what multi-million np weapon I wanted to buy to beef up my set (unevenly, but whatever) just *3 days* ago. Now everything is inflated. It takes FOREVER for things to deflate after anything battle related. Oh well, I guess there's still the Hidden Tower stuff. My most expensive weapon is only worth about 70k, so you can see why I'm kicking myself for not just biting the bullet when I had the chance. :(

Oh well, looks like I'll be able to sell off all the codestones, dubloons, faeries, weapons, snowballs, muffins, novas, and essence of everlasting apples I've been hoarding for the past year or so. Maybe even my Pteri Morphing Potion if they have another disease giving opponent like in HatIC battledome segment.

Yeah, it has been a while since I've posted. 8) I've always been here, though, just lurking in the shadows. ;)

I honestly wouldn't mind a really complex puzzle plot, I just kind of feel like BDers keep getting the short end of the stick. Other than DoN and bragging rights, there really isn't a whole lot of point to the Battledome right now, and I think it would be nice for hard-core battlers to have something really hard to work on, just like the puzzlers have had.

Yeh, i know there have been hints, just didn't expect TNT to act so quickly on it. I'm rather attatched to my money :P Shame about the stat bonus btw :(

I'm attached to my money, too, but now I'm kicking myself for not investing in the weapons (read: Honey Potion) I've been eyeing for some time. Just wanted to get the Adam avatar first, heh.

Wonder when the first activities for this plot will begin. Speculation, guesses?

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet. I haven't read all the posts yet and I will later. But anyway, with this plot I think we are supposed to figure out what happened between the purple grundo and the orange ones. Something happened and when they finally made peace with one another, all the purple grundo had to have orange spots and every purple pet suddenly also had to have orange spots.

Also, I still think my idea for building your own neopet would work really well with this plot. Dr. Sloth is using his mine on Kreludor to get some ore I think. If he builds lots of robot parts, but then he is defeated, we could get the parts and build our own robot pets. We could get different parts like heads, legs, wheels, etc. Based on whatever part you were able to acquire, your robot could look very unique. Some parts would be washed up at the pirate cove. Other parts could be plot rewards. Some parts could be randomly found around the site, about the same rarity as one of the rarest paint brushes. I don't think I'd want a robot pet, but some people might like that.

I'm very glad they are bring back Dr. Sloth. For a while there I thought with the new ownership they'd make everything all flowers and rainbows and lollypops forever. But I really like a good plot! And I hope they don't ever "Kill" Dr. Sloth. I mean, we love to hate him. So he can't ever really die. We need a villain or else Neopia is going to be too sugary sweet.

Also, I am trying to figure out just what color the cybunny is.

She appears to be tyrannian or maybe desert. I can't tell. Maybe she is just a brownish color, but it seems different from any color we have right now.
